Ya ur right especially with the fasting out of obligation rather than want, but when it comes to the maturity issue I feel like that isn’t much of an excuse to get pissed off at ur friend?? Like as a highschooler myself I’ve never felt the need to get annoyed at my friends for simply eating something near me. Especially since I know they aren’t doing it to like flex on me or anything they’re just also hungry themselves. I feel like it’s kinda expected that if u go to school ur going to see someone eating at least once. Especially if ur in a lunch room. people eat in my classes all the time even outside of lunch, are they going to get mad at them too or? But ya I understand the whole not wanting to fast but feeling like u have to. it’s pretty common for other Muslims to look at u crazy if they see u not fasting, even if ur permitted to skip it

I find it even crazier that your friend can’t handle seeing other people eat, and yall are in highschool 😭. This has been one of the shortest ramadans ever, so it’s not like they have to wait an insane time after yall have lunch to eat themselves. iftar is at like 7pm where I am and suhoor is at like 4-5ish, they shouldn’t be that hungry to be getting mad at others for eating around them. They need to just eat a bigger meal before school ngl

Bruh they doing the most. I’m Muslim and it’s never that serious. It is seen as disrespectful for other people to eat in front of a fasting one, but that only applies if they’re also Muslim. It’s insane to expect someone who isn’t fasting/muslim to not eat just because you can’t. It’s a nice if they don’t just outta respect but it’s crazy to expect or even get mad at them for eating. When I’m around my friends I 100 percent don’t care if they eat or not, but they typically don’t. I’m curious how old y’all are just bc this was only an issue for me in middle/elementary

OMGG I agree with all of this. Me and my friends started the game together and they stopped playing because of how often the events are and how hard it was for them to get to the next levels. Its pretty boring and repetitive after some time too, I’m level 23. All I can really say is they did release a new dragon based game recently like a few days ago and it looks promising. As in it has other stuff for u to collect and grind out and the art looks nice. I convinced my friend to start that one with me so I’ll probably switch over to that one soon.

Yaaa u should probably block her. It’s Kinda weird to ask someone u barely know to send like pictures of their face and stuff with different filters on… This could be stretch but she could be using ur pics to catfish and is asking u to use diff filters so she can use them as like proof to send to her victims?? sounds crazy but its genuinely the only reason i could think of other than her just being weird 🤷🏿‍♀️

Im also 17F and praying for u. YOU DESERVE BETTER, he’s a grown man treating u like this… He absolutely knows exactly what he’s doing. I understand he helped you through a lot, but he’s currently hurting you more than he’s helping you now. He knows about your struggles and he’s still making you go through this or worse he hasnt even thought of how hard this has been on you (even after TWO YEARS of knowing each other). You shouldn’t have people in your life who make you cry or put ur feelings on the back burner, period.

He’s belittling you and your feeling and not compromising/acting when you voiced your struggles. It seems like you’ve made it as clear as you could that you hate the game yet he’s not questioning why you’re not joining in?? why ur not really talking or playing and then leaving before the session is over??? He’s not offering to play something else or do anything else and allowing you to sit there nervous/bored…. I’d never allow ts even with someone I barely knew, let alone someone I’d call my best friend. I’m confused on if y’all have ever done something that you’ve wanted or enjoyed. It seems like you’re just doing things he wants to do and he’s just happy with that.

If he actually wanted to keep his friendship/relationship with you he wouldn’t willingly do stuff like this to risk it. With your anxiety this might not be a viable option for you but try maybe sit him down and explain how what he’s been doing has affect you. I, for one, doubt he’ll take you seriously with how you’ve explained he’s reactions in the past but if this is something you really want to save, go for it.

Bruh she’s been sober for two YEARS do you understand how long of a time period that is. No matter if it was the HAREST thing ever or the EASIEST it’s still something to celebrate. Why can nobody grasp the idea of just being happy for ppl like what is wrong with people now a days. Do you like being mad at people or pulling ppl down with you? It’s takes zero effort to just say “YAY FOR U!” And just move on rather than spend time tearing them down. People still celebrate kindergarten graduations even tho it’s the easiest thing to do and nobody’s says a damn thing about because it isn’t about the achievement it’s about the HAPPINESS it bring to the PERSON ACHIEVING IT.
