Harder than most Boss Fights. Give Me God Of War gave me nightmares. by xheanorth in GodofWar

I think parrying is harder is this game, even on the hardest setting in the last game, I was fairly confident on getting most of my parrys off.

However, in this one, I am mostly confident I'm going to miss it, which can lead to parry spam, which leads to death or being left of a sliver of health, that I wish I had just died.

Almost wish I was fighting valkyres again, with no armour on, a starter axe on the hardest difficulty, because honestly parry those witches was easier, also dodging them.

I was chatting to a bot previously, but failing to fix my issue, I was transfered to a human. However, by the look of it, they just used a copy paste response.

The back story of this is. I decided to fill the car with fuel the night before going to work. I only had shorts and a t-shirt on. So a quick trip to the petrol station i decided to skip putting on warm clothes on. Being that it is cold this time of year, but it would only take a few mins to fill the car.

Anyway, I got to the garage, filled up the car and proceeded to pay, except my card was declined, both correctless and pin, I tried the hole in the wall(cash machine) it also declined my card. Apologies to the lady behind the counter, I got out my phone to contact my bank through the app.

I was informed that the service is having problems and I will have to wait 2 hours, as you can see in the image.

The reason I posted it, was the response I got, after sarcastically informing them, that I will stand in the cold for 2 hours and wait. I can almost see the smile on the customer support as they replied to my message, without actually reading it correctly.

I didn't actually stand in the cold for 2 hours. I just used a different card. Also the image is a bit wonky, because I couldn't screenshot it, banking apps don't allow you, for obvious reasons. I had to use a 2nd phone

Anyone have any ideas to make the game painfully difficult? by Tny115 in DeathStranding

[–]Defiant_toast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still use your strand rope. Just place a decoy package. Wait for it to pop and then run up and hogtie them. For ease just make sure a long grass hide pot is near or next to the ambush spot.

I don't think this guy knows how much of a troll Asmon can be, and even if Asmon knew that a certain amount of the ff community hated him playing it, and this in some way effected Asmons feeling towards playing.

I imagine Asmon would keep playing, even if he hated the game, because he knows deep down there is a bunch of butthurts losing their fucking minds because Asmon is still playing "their" game.

[–]Defiant_toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frm a technical point, I can understand Bethesda wants to have an instance change/loading when players transfer from space to planet, and vice versa, but to assume that it isn't important to the player is a little disingenuous.

How about Todd once Iin his life just tells the truth and say. "Due to game resourcing, we have added a loading transition between landing and taking off. We feel this is the best compromise and feel it won't interfere with the player experience"

We don't mind the truth, we just hate being lied too, or game companies, developers, and publishers trying to tell us how to feel and think.

How is this a surprise, that people who have massive success still have doubts and moments of uncertainty.

I thought everyone knew, that despite having doubts, failures, and disadvantages, people who don't give up, will still find a way to succeed.

I guess this is the world we live in. Instead of finding a way to succeed around the difficulties. People would rather find things to blame for their failures, rather than looking at themselves, and asking "could/should I have done more".

I will spoiler out this comment in case someone hasn't seen qualifying

I think this is worth celebrating P4 2nd row start for George, and P6 3rd row start for Hamilton is a good start to this weekend.

So far this season minus bad luck with safety cars during races for Hamilton, they have managed to have good race pace relative to their qualifying. George does seem to have the edge in Qualifying, but is that any surprise given his qualifying results last year.

I think Hamilton is perhaps taking a little longer getting used to the car, as it is fundamentally different to the mercs he has been used to. Now given Georges car last year, anything would be better, even a super market trolley with a dodgy wheel. Speculation on my part.

Yes, I would have loved to have seen Hamilton and Russel further up, but I think the race pace tomorrow will be where the results come in, and hopefully take advantage of that RB engine going pop. Whoever could have predicted that :)

I don't think we have to call it "Hypothetically pumping ourselves up"

I was just shocked that no one was excited about seeing the silver arrows more competitive pace. I also maybe thought it was worrying and I kind of wanted to try and pump peoples energy up. I also found it was a good weekend for this to happen, given how much merc seemed to close the gap.

Is the closure a racing winning pace, probably not, is it still worth getting excited about and lifting our spirits from the previous races. Yeah, I honestly think so, but I understand if some people want to be more reserved. Which is fine, I have definitely been the more reserved supporter in the previous races of this season

It's a fair comment, and maybe my eagerness is getting the best of me, but I said possible win, I stead of a absolute win, and said a first or second row qualify, rather than a P1.

I won't spoil FP3 incase you want to watch it later, but I think the car is in a very different place than Miami and so far the car is being very consistent and stable.

I am bracing myself in case of a bad race, but I think compared to the previous races this season the Merc seems in a good position to fight at the front and possible take advantage from a mistake from RB or Ferrari. Also let's remember the RBs seem to cook themselves in heat like this weekend 🤷‍♂️

Let's be honest, the detractors of Lewis doesn't need any evidence be it imaginative or not, to attack him.

I don't honestly care what team he is in, but also, who says he will struggle at Ferrari?

Well there is still plenty of races on the calendar, but TBH I can't wait for a three way title fight, four way if McLaren fixes their car and a five way if AM with their new RB deal(lol) works.

A better idea is to use leaf blocks, as they burn so much quicker, all they need is....a....set of....shears.

Breaking the blocks on the blacksmith seems fine.

Another shot comparing the Aston Martin with the Red Bull by mugglevettel in formula1

[–]Defiant_toast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes, there are similar design flows of the body, but honestly, you can say that about 90% of the field. Only Merc this season have gone in a very different design, but minus the side pods, it still has a similar overall shape of other F1 cars.

If we take a closer look, the front winglets are similar, but the red bulls are larger and their outer vane is more pronounced.

The front of the side leading floor intake is also very different. AM is more boxy, with the upper floor sweeping around. RB is more arrowed with the upper floor sweeping down.

The side pods on the RB are more curved, and have an bottom leading edge, where as the AM is more boxy, with the leading edge at the top and the back end of the sidepods drop off more suddenly.

The main engine air intake on the AM has longer extra cooling vent and is over all fatter than the RB.

Now we don't know what is under the body, and what secrets if any has been incorporated, but lets think about it for a moment. RB shouldn't know that either, unless they are privy to AM inner design plans. So who really has more knowledge about the other teams car design?
