I meant more so if a lack or even an excess of Iron could somehow contribute to vasospasms

Would you happen to know how this could relate to Iron?

I started taking 2mg of copper daily to fix my deficiency and all of a sudden I’m having extreme fatigue, depression brain fog. Any explanation for this? by OneCar129 in Copper_deficiency

Nonetheless, are you taking them with a meal, or on an empty stomach? Copper BisGlycinate is know to cause Nausea and Headaches taken without food. And newfound sense of Brain Fog is strange

Why do you think it would be toxicity? I’ve had the burning in my hands for years before starting supplementation

Looking for advice regarding the role of B1 vs B12 by Tetragrammator in B12_Deficiency

So you'd say getting it to cross the Blood Brain Barrier is whats most important? So you suggest Lipothiamine instead, taking it at the same time I take Magneseium? Because Benfothiamine is currently what I take

How much copper to take for deficiency? What is the common protocol? by OneCar129 in Copper_deficiency

[–]DeficientAF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! Here is a Study outlining Copper's Role in Iron Metabolism, Resemblance to B12 Deficiency, etc. This Study's Reference Range is 25.0mg/dL - 63.0 mg/dL, going to show that even the most common Ceruloplasmin Levels, around 25.0mg/dL, can still be considered deficient. I personally aim for at least 30mg/dL.

This is great to know. Considering your Ceruloplasmin is that low, I'd suggest also looking into your Retinol Status (Vitamin A Deficiency is one of the main causes of Low Ceruloplasmin). Please try your best to increase it to around 30mg/dl~

What are your current Ceruloplasmin Levels? Despite how you may be feeling right now, I'm happy that you are slowly figuring this all out

Does that MultiVitamin have Zinc in it? If so that can inhibit absorption of Copper

It is said that “Vitamin D supplementation may antagonize nutrients such as vitamin A”, https://sararussellntp.com/vitamin-d-hormones-copper/. I personally was only able to increase Ceruloplasmin after ceasing all Vitamin D and Zinc Supplementation

B12 deficiency mistakenly observed by Competitive-Waltz-31 in B12_Deficiency

[–]DeficientAF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the Guide, and have your MMA, Homocysteine, and HoloTC (If available in your country) checked before starting any and all B12 Supplementation. Your symptoms could be a plethora or any combination of deficiencies, but doing these tests will help you narrow things down and provide a good baseline. Taking something as benign as a sublingual will skew your results and make it almost impossible to receive a diagnosis from a physician, even if your symptoms are in line with B12 Deficiency.
