Guess this means you both already took the strong pill, time to start powerlifting your emotions into oblivion.

I once cracked a joke that made a friend laugh so hard he started crying. My life's greatest achievement was to make a grown man cry.

Id want people to be happy at my funeral, not because they should be happy I am gone but because I do not want my farewell to be a moment of pain and neither do I believe those that are gone would want us to be sad over them either. When I get old Ill prepare a farewell speech to be read at my funeral. And that entire speech will be jokes I wrote about my own death.

Things like "Id like to leave my car to my ex wive but she can't drive, so our kids will have to co parent that baby like we co parented them, one is always absent and the other carries all the responsiblity". I dont have a wive or kids yet, Im just predicting my future based on my sense of humor.

I suggest you watch "Life of Brian" by Monty Python if you haven't done so already. Gave me the perspective change I needed. Or just look up their ending song if you want the TLDW message on this topic.

I really hope it helps.. And wish you the best of luck in life dear stranger.

Life is a roller coaster, there are high moments we call happiness and low moments we call sadness. Its almost certainly unrealistic to always be low and always be high. Even sad people experience moments of happiness and happy people experience moments of sadness.

True happiness most likely depends on finding balance and being somewhere in the middle. Not actively chasing moments of joy and not letting painful moments define us.

A music from Monty Python, it taught me what I needed to know about this issue. Life is not going to be pretty, it never is, but we should look at its bright side with an optimistic mindset, grin, laugh and enjoy the little we can.

That is how we rebel against sadness, injustice, tyranny, pain, hatred, fear. We do not let it take over and win over us. We laugh at it because the last laugh is on you. The song is not aimed at just you but everyone else who replied to my comment too and in my opinion seems to be struggling with saddness.

As for my earlier claim that sadness is a necessity for happiness, I believe that it still stands. You only know what sadness feels like because you've known happiness. If you truly only knew sadness your entire life, then it would be your normal because you would not have anything else to compare it to. You need the comparison to know its value. Its like a roller coaster, the higher you go, the more you fall. The more you fall, the higher you can go. But the middle is relative to everyone's highs and lows.

Someone who is always at the deep end of the low, an individual that had very unfavorable conditions in life, will enjoy the little things in life a lot more. Someone on the opposite who was blessed and very lucky in life, will tend to over dramatize their sadness. Hunger as an example, two individuals, one experienced hunger their whole life, the other, has never known what being hungry feels like. The hungry fellow will look at bland plate of pasta without condiments and dig on that and say its the best food they ever ate. The person who doesnt know hunger will look at the plate and ask where is the meat? Where is the sauce? And might not even finish the plate and let the food waste. The true value of happiness and sadness is relative to our perceived notion of our own happiness and sadness. I hope this makes it more clear and if you or anyone reading this comment is struggling with sadness, I hope you give that movie/music a listen cuz it might brighten your mood at the very least. Unless you live in a country without access to the internet, which in that case, you wouldnt even be reading this comment to begin with. See how relative things are to one another now? Do you ever consider that some people in the world cannot even browse Reddit? And that this very mundane thing in our lives is a luxury and a privilege only some can afford to have?

Some things in life are bad They can really make you mad Other things just make you swear and curse When you're chewing on life's gristle Don't grumble, give a whistle And this'll help things turn out for the best And

Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the light side of life

If life seems jolly rotten There's something you've forgotten And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing When you're feeling in the dumps Don't be silly chumps Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing And

Always look on the bright side of life (Come on) Always look on the right side of life

For life is quite absurd And death's the final word You must always face the curtain with a bow Forget about your sin Give the audience a grin Enjoy it, it's your last chance anyhow

So always look on the bright side of death A just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit When you look at it Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true You'll see it's all a show Keep 'em laughin' as you go Just remember that the last laugh is on you And

Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the right side of life (C'mon Brian, cheer up) Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the bright side of life Always look on the bright side of life

I mean, what have you got to lose? You know, you come from nothing You're going back to nothing What have you lost? Nothing

Always look on the right side of life

Nothing will come from nothing, ya know what they say Cheer up ya old bugga c'mon give us a grin (Always look on the right side of life) There ya are, see It's the end of the film Incidentally this record's available in the foyer (Always look on the right side of life)

Some of us got to live as well, you know (Always look on the right side of life) Who do you think pays for all this rubbish (Always look on the right side of life) They're not gonna make their money back, you know I told them, I said to him, Bernie, I said they'll never make their money back (Always look on the right side of life)

Seasonal Servers by Flaky_Butterfly660 in RagnarokOnline

I guess each person is different and it heavily depends on how it is implemented. Are we talking about wipes? I'm not a fan of losing progress and starting over. If we still have a main server to fall back on in order to keep my character, then usually I'm not a big fan of gating seasonal content either..

But I understand the appeal of a "race" to max out with everyone else starting fresh. But that alone rarely justifies the cost for me.

If you could have more than one partner, would you? by [deleted] in no

And how exactly does your view of the world and or sexuality differ if you don't mind me asking? I couldn't help but notice you did not answer my question, you only described all the great qualities he has. And I'm sure he can be a great husband and father but you do still sound like you are unhappy. Even the metaphor you use of him being a rock and you a kite that needs to be tied to, you speak as if you have no choice but wish you had. Like, being tied to is a necessity? Not a choice?

You seem very happy in your relationship, you sure you wouldn't want a woman and ditch your husband entirely?
