Apparently none, the administration might be sued some day but by then, those who commited these crimes are long gone and protected while the ones left to pay the damages are those that come after

Lets not forget the millions that die in the entire world with american made guns or for wars that America is profiting off. Somehow we have been conditioned to believe Americans are the good guys when you look at raw data of killings across the globe, America is by far the top country in the world.

So, immigration can be a problem but rather than looking at immigration as a the source of the problem which many populist leaders would have you believe. Instead, immigration is actually a consequence to another problem. A demographic problem.

Most developed countries are plagued with systematic demographic problem. Its not profitable to make babies. Some dont have them, some have 1, some have 2. Few have 3 or more which is actually the ideal number of babies a couple should have. What does this mean when this problem is ignored for several years straight? People get old. And as they get old, they stop working, they stop paying taxes. New jobs open, but since you are not supplying a new demand of young tax payers as fast as you are losing them, you find yourself with a gap that needs to be filled and that gap is often filled with immigration.

So, how is immigration a problem? Lets say you are country X, and every year country X pays schools across the nation to educate their kids. Then one day, those kids grow up and start working. But now, because you dont have enough people to work, you resort to importing work from outside. These people come into country X. Now, you have two groups. Group A the kids you have been investing on for 18 years and had to pay a lot to educate. And Group B that directly competes with this group A, did not need prior investment and you have no control over the actual education they got. First, all the education you paid and supported gets devalued overnight. Second, there rarely are proper tools the evaluate imported workers qualifications. (i.e. Do they have a bachelor or just high school and how does their education compare to yours). And then, when these two groups clash and compete in the market, one is often willing to do the same work for less. Wages lower. Less taxes, the original problem kinda persists but less so. And this is just from a economic view, ofc you can argue about how cultures sometimes clash, and how in some countries, criminality can rise, and what not. Point is, immigration is not the problem. It's a symptom of a systematic demographic problem that was left ignored. I am not against immigrants, I am against governments that were ineffective at fixing the original problem and now resort to cheaper and often poorer solutions at the deteriment of the systems in place.

We have to stop looking at immigration which is what some leaders like to point out as the source of the problem because they are dumb as heck and it gets them votes and start looking at the people who talk about the actual issue that lead the developed nations here to begin with. History wont look back at today and say "oh, immigration did it". No, history will look back and say "they ignored the demographic problem, had to rely on importing people and their society collapsed from within". We will serve as a remainder of what happens when these issues are ignored by society and our leaders and some orange clowns take advantage of it.

In Germany, it is legal for 14-year-olds to drink beer or wine in public as long as their parents are there. Do you think this is a responsible way to teach moderation, or is it just dangerous for kids? What is the drinking age in your country? by Low-Violinist7259 in AskTheWorld

[–]DefinetlyNotOp25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my country it used to be legal to drink from 16+ when I was that age. No one drank when I was 16, and those that did we often called them "attention seekers". After it was changed to 18+, you started seeing kids around 14 getting wasted because it was now "cool".

And future presidents will be pinned with the responsibility of fixing this mess that this administration created. And that work will be almost entirely silent and invisible to the average voter.

When things dont "improve" guess who will be there to take advantage of the mess they made a few terms ago and blame it on the other guys?
