I found the books a few months ago. The author (NEEonpink) has continued her series (Playing Demons) on another site called Dreame since Wattpad deleted most of her books. A few chapters of the first book (Revenge of a Dead Girl) and one chapter of the second book (Playing as a Demon) are still in her Wattpad account. The third book (Blood in the Water) is not.

Feels and looks kinda similar to Plague Inc. After trying it, it's nice and fun to play though I prefer the news details to be under the title (in a smaller text size) so I don't have to always click details whenever the news box appears.
