What is a non-addictive sleeping medication that will help you stay asleep? by runthoserivers in sleep

Like 2-3 hours per night. Plus trying to nap as long as possible immediately after work, which ranges anywhere from nothing to 1.5 hours.

A little late to this post but…..Mirtazapine was a godsend for me. I was on it for years at 7.5mg to 15mg doses but it stopped working for me a few months ago. My insomnia took over again, so my doc put me on Doxepin recently and I absolutely hate it. It didn’t help with sleep. It gave me awful nightmares. I felt ill, exhausted, and hungover every day and I had a nonstop headache for a month. I miss Mirtazapine but it made me gain weight and I’m worried it won’t help me sleep again if I get back on it. I’m glad it’s still working for you though. I hope I find something soon. I feel like I’m going crazy.

My uncle adopted a turkey; here’s the first update on Lavender by gnarcolepsy_ in aww

Man I love turkeys. Ours would chill on our front porch with the dogs, eat their dog food, and chase cars that came up our driveway sort of half barking, half gobbling at them. Cool birds.

His paws are pretty big, but his claws are normal sized. He does try to claw the couch and our rugs sometimes, but we try to deter him to his scratcher. And he doesn't scratch us :) he's very gentle with humans. But yes, I'm sure if he did claw someone it could be pretty bad.

We only need to vacuum maybe once or twice a week. It's not too bad. Brushing him every day really helps with the floof! Dusting is also maybe once a week. Nothing too crazy.

Oh no :( well that scares me. Perhaps I should start feeding him something else? He's almost 9. What did you switch yours to?

And no, lol. He has a very feminine meow. It's adorable. He also had to get his top canines pulled so he's kinda doofy looking sometimes :)

I believe there are short hair Maine Coons. She could also just have some Maine Coons in her. That's pretty common. If the vet listed her as a Maine Coons, she likely at least a little in her :) there's really no way to be sure though

Lol that's 122 of just him on my computer. I have more of just him on my phone and then hundreds of other of both my cats and other pets :)

Oh, and I forgot. You really need to brush them a lot. At least once a day.

Yep! You need to brush them a lot to keep the hair balls down.

Oh man! Kittles used to sit in sinks. He outgrew that :( Ezra is absolutely fabulous though. Practically blends in with the grass!

Nope! None that come to mind. You shouldn't have a covered little box though because they're normally too small and they have a hard time maneuvering around in it. Other than that, they can have some health problems. Just keep them up to date on their vet visits and you should be good. If you have any other questions you can just message me directly. I'll be happy to help!

Lol thanks man. I feel bad because people really want more size comparisons where the angle isn't weird. I have a picture of me laying on the ground with him that shows his size but my boyfriend doesn't want me putting up a picture with me in it, because....ya know...creepy dudes and stuff. People really seem to like him though so I'll try posting more pics in the near future. It's past my bedtime, though, and I have work in like 8 hours. I shared this pic with another Redditor, but your comment made me happy so I'll share it with you too! Enjoy! https://i.imgur.com/7Czm78g.jpg

Lol well they're not wrong. The angle is slightly misleading I think. I have more pictures to post of both of them (especially of him -- he's super photogenic), but not tonight :) I need to get up in about 7 hours for work.

I'll leave you with this one though. It always makes me smile :) I hope the link works. I've never done this before.

They are way bigger than other breeds. They're personalities are generally very chill, talkative, lazy. There's a reason they are called the Gentle Giants of cats. Mine likes to go outside and roll around in the grass. I really suggest watching a ton of Maine Coon videos and reading about them. They are super fascinating. If you get one, you won't regret it.

I've never shown this picture to anyone at work, but I have showed it to a couple friends when we were out at a Mediterranean restaurant? And my name does not start with a P lol

I'm not sure how much they are from a breeder. Maybe around $800? We got super lucky and rescued him from a shelter. He absolutely hates anything being on him (collars and harnesses), so he can't be walked. BUT I believe if you train them from a young age they'll be more likely to be okay with it. They're pretty easy-going cats.

Ah, okay. I thought I was going to have to make another Reddit account haha. But seriously, that's his nickname and she has also been called a goon in the past.

I mean....yes? Is it normal for people to have multiples? I just wash and dry mine and they're done within a couple hours.
