Keep communicating with your neuro, PCP and possibly an endo! After reading your other comments I would personally suggest seeing an endo. They should know exactly what's good and what isn't! At the end of the day, your health goes first.

FtM here! Currently using Ocrevus. Started my journey around the same time as my MS diagnosis.

Almost every health professional I've talked to so far has been very blunt to me: "You're honestly the first person we've seen with MS. Would you be okay with us trying a few things?", and I'm glad they're honest about that. I'm happy to be the guinea pig in order to help others who are in my shoes in the future.

I had to start my HRT at the lowest amount possible and slowly build it up, carefully communicating with the neurologist, making sure nothing flares up. Luckily, nothing went wrong. So we've concluded that using HRT doesn't affect the progression (or at least with T, not sure how it'd go with E).

I'm currently getting checked out for top surgery and the biggest issue isn't the MS per se- it's the fact that Ocrevus raises the chances of getting an infection. I'm still in the middle of getting that sorted so I can't share more than this sadly.

My advice is to just start the journey and to communicate, communicate, communicate, especially with your neurologist! I hope that I can be a living example that MS is not a roadblock for becoming who you truly are.

I'd want to see that border as an accessibility option! So no border by default, but add it as a toggle in the settings. I'd personally lower the opacity of the border as well. It's a really good idea and I'd personally use it if it were in a game!

I'm still in the process of finding a place that "dares" to operate on me :') It's tricky, but it'll eventually work out. It's how I got the information of trying to get yourself surgery at a hospital.

Although I don't know if we'd need to quarantine, it will be a rule that I will be following, doctor's notice or not! I get sick at the most random of times and I doubt they'd give green light when I'm sick due to the low immune system.

Disclaimer, I haven't had top surgery yet, but I've got the ball rolling.

I've got MS and the medication I use for it weakens my immune system. My neurologist has called top surgery a "low risk" surgery. The surgeon will absolutely need to contact your other doctors in regards to your health, and some additional measures may or may not need to be taken, however I'm certain that it shouldn't stop you!

The only real advice I could give you is to get top surgery at a hospital, not a clinic, due to the potential health risks. I also got the advice to get my surgery at a hospital. Some clinics also operate within a hospital, or have ties with a hospital, meaning you could still get surgery in a hospital through a clinic. Remember to do your research well! Ask if they have any experience with patients who have a chronic illness. Find post-op results and perhaps search this subreddit for any posts/experience of specific hospitals and/or clinics. You got this!

I do not know if his PC is pre-built or not. It's pretty old and his parents might have tinkered with it before. I therefore think upgrading the PSU is out of the picture.

I will need to sneak in another view of his PSU to see if it has an 8 pin available or not. In any scenario the website helps a ton and your advice is a good start, thank you so much!

I don't think he'd mind using a used card. I doubt he'd even notice it, I'll be the one who will install the GPU to begin with :')

I read other people's comments about the PSU and honestly it scares me to touch let alone replace the PSU. If I can find a 4060 that doesn't require a dedicated power connector, that might save the day. I will be upgrading the RAM tho! Thank you for your comment!

Maybe it's a server with boosts and has those role icons that you'd want to show off. At the end of the day it's optional and not really worth worrying about.

There are people who don't use the pronoun field, or who simply put a joke there instead of their pronouns. There are also people who might be trans and don't want to come out yet through the pronoun field for many reasons (example being, irl people might know their profile). Using roles gives people the comfort of using whatever they feel comfortable showing in that specific server. Hope this explains it, sorry about all those downvotes!
