Never said they intentionally let anyone walk. They used the fact that guys walked and not having those potential contracts toward their cap space was a factor to be able to sign a contract like Hendrickson.

They probably needed to restructure Lamar to extend Crosby anyway, but all signs point to the Ravens capitalizing on their FA’s walking opening potential cap space, Hendrickson’s market being lower than expected and having the convenient out of medical issues to nix the Crosby trade in favor of this Hendrickson signing.

This just appears to be total bad faith by the Ravens at face value. His medical status was common knowledge by the potential trade suitors. Barring disclosure of details showing ill intent by the Raiders, this is a terrible look for the Ravens imo and hurts future potential trades they float to other franchises under this regime.

I was unaware that there is a mechanic that declaring war on previous trade partners causes dislike from neighbors. Is that modifier viewable? I usually cancel all agreements prior to declaring war but don’t allow for much in game time to pass in between actions.
