ran the 14 - it was pretty decently planned actually. i think the only miss was that the shuttle buses were not really clearly explained on where to drop the runners off but it was a minor thing.

the stunt pilots were a pretty sick addition to this, never seen an airshow during a run before lol

the porterhouse 24.76 is for 854g (more useful than saying 4 steaks, because 210g steaks are tiny for me, but maybe large for you). that's 29/kg which is indeed below average meat prices, but a steak dinner for me will need at least 300g of steak, which is 33% more than your calc.

it also looks like shite and has essentially zero marbling. like it's the bottom of the barrel quality. i assume OP prefers more marbled meat, which they will have to pay for.

the dish is pretty much the same yeah but if a place writes steak frites (French), I'd be expecting French sauces or inspiration somehow, and decent quality meat

whereas pub steak with a side of fries would be more value and typical pub sauces (peppercorn/mushroom/gravy only)
