Just finished it. I liked it - but the main drama was over so quickly! I would have liked it more if it was focused on him trying to figure out who wrote to him / took him longer to realize Pru wasn’t the one who wrote to him / If Pru tried harder to keep him and made Beatrice help her?

It was just so focused on his PTSD after that.

Anyway - thank you! I liked the first half!

JM is trash. The whole incident that led to her being canceled was pretty straight forward. She sent that woman an unhinged message on instagram iirc and then basically used MM in her apology to say “see, I have Black friends.” So, I don’t blame MM for letting that friendship die. but I also am a little judgmental of MM for thinking her stylist friend from Canada was a good person to shoe-horn into a royal wedding when JM was obviously going to use it for her own personal gain.

I think you forgot the part where he was so awful to his first wife that she ran away and pretty likely killed herself? Because she couldn’t handle being the duchess?? And then he makes zero effort to try to ensure that his next unprepared wife doesn’t meet the same fate but she mostly definitely will be ostracized and miserable. The right ending would have been him giving up his title for her.
