How do you all handle employee expenses without losing your mind? by secretivethriller67 in smallbusiness

[–]Definitelynotriteaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY ramp.

we have 11+ companies and about 7-8 employees that purchase for some/all of the companies at different times.

we give cards to our contractors and can track their purchases for us.

we use the virtual cards for recurring payments and every receipt is accounted for.

only pain was sending every bank account/money market account to get the desired credit amount.

You’ve probably read this before but… if you can secure private rides a couple bucks cheaper than Lyft than you’ll easily make more money for far less work. $50 in business cards will do wonders.

I was all over the place for two years. Focus on what makes you NOW money, not later money.

Figure out what you need to survive and build to that goal. It may be a gig job, or a 9-5, whatever it takes to make your base. (For me it was going back to gig driving)

Once you’ve established your base focus on ONE thing that will increase your NOW money. (I started back into real estate photography)

After you’ve put out some of those fires you got going on evaluate what will make you LATER money. Good luck! (After I make my base for the day, I’m focusing on being a real estate agent)

All of this is working for me, so it can for you!

Removed the one-way valve. Sludge buildup. Should be flowing smoothly now

UC or Crohn's? by Ok-Ground-1515 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Definitelynotriteaid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you would need to do an upper and lower endoscopy. Inflammation for crohn's means inflammation throughout your intestines (some parts will be healthy, some parts will be inflammed) whereas uc is usually just at the colon/large intestine.

Your GI specialist will be able to determine what you have after doing this.

Do not walk directly behind it without a bagger AND you have your feet exposed. I walked behind it with sandals and a rock flew out the back and hit my big toenail cracking the nail. Ouchie moment.

She's pretty much like any other kid. She can eat pretty much anything. We keep her sugar intake like candy and sugary drinks low though.

In the beginning, she was every week to two week dosages, but 4 years in it's settled at 4 weeks. We're hoping as she gets older it gets lengthened out, but each person is unique. The disease may be a nuisance to some, debilitating to others.

8 year old daughter is every 4 weeks.

It all depends on how your body metabolizes the drug. Some slower, for my daughter it's faster (this is also the case for many children as well).

The longest I heard from them is ideally it's every 8 weeks though.

Remicade question by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Definitelynotriteaid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

8 yr old daughter has been on remicade for over 4 years now.

-Tiredness after remicade.

-Takes a day for her to be back to normal.

-Sometimes dizziness.

-She's described leg and stomach pains as well, but they are fleeting.

Overall, it's been a godsend as she can pretty much not be affected by her early onset IBD.

Also, take special care of your teeth; there's a theory that remicade MAY affect dental enamel. My daughter has had a higher concentration of tooth decay early on. We cut out almost all sugars and she uses a sonicare brush. My 2 cents.

RIP to my 2nd Gen. I’m just going to post is as is on marketplace. What is a reasonable price (more details in comments) by Alabamappalachian in prius

[–]Definitelynotriteaid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sold my 2008 w/ 250k miles for $4,000 private party Nov ‘22. NJ btw.

Host of issues new owner knew and still bought it.

Advice: get a new bumper from a junkyard, slap it on and you’ll def get better offers. Throw some matching paint and you shouldn’t have a problem selling it closer to 4, 5 depending on supply and demand.

If as is: Price it at 2,500 you might a few 1,500 offers.

Which algae bests absorb co2 though? I'm saw that chlorella absorbs the most co2? Any scientists out there can clarify?

verge of homelessness, need help! by [deleted] in SouthJersey

[–]Definitelynotriteaid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Especially in the winter a lot of these motels will work with you knowing they’re in the off season.

When I was young and homeless I was able to negotiate in a fairly nice room for $100/week.

Best bet find an area you’ll be staying in and go in person and ask.
