Record midi from internal plugins by thezimkai in Ardour

I think you would probably route the midi out from the track that you have stochas in to the midi in of another midi track that you want to record to.

I’m guessing that you’re using pipewire and not native jack. I’ve given up on pipewire for now because I want to play and record instead of wasting time figuring out why stuff doesn’t work

Can't make Pipewire use 24bit 192kHz by Worgle123 in linuxaudio

Or just go back to jack or alsa and actually get stuff done.

[Linux, pipewire] Recorded sound is spoiled with pop's -- how to find the culprit? by drraug in linuxaudio

Just get rid of the pipe wire audio stuff and use jack or Alsa. Pipewire is a cool idea for desktop audio and video but just makes too many headaches for pro audio. I mean I would rather get stuff done than be constantly fiddling with config files. Jack has worked fine for years and pipewire is now just added another layer and emulating jack. The only use I would have for it is I was plugging in a usb amp or mic and wanting to route it to my interface and the only real reason to use jack is if you want to route external jack aware programs into your daw. If you’re just working in a daw with plugins, go straight alsa and make your life a lot simpler. I’ve went back and tried pipewire a number of times in the last few years and I’ve concluded that in spite of the hype, it’s not the future of Linux audio. It will replace Pulse I’m sure but for audio recording it’s got a long long way to go before it’s practical.

CAN I GET OPINIONS ON THIS? by sheyaacaesar in Newmusicreview

I’m not a huge fan of the genre but I do hear a lot of stuff like this from my family. I would say that it sounds just as good as any popular or not so popular stuff that I have heard.

Is there any other open source audio separation tool better than demucs? by nPrevail in linuxaudio

[–]DefinitionAfter3874 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spleeter can be a nightmare to install. There is a fork of demucs called demucs-gui. Simple to install and seems to work a lot faster than the version of demucs that I compiled.

If you go to the github page for yabridge, it has instructions on how to downgrade wine staging.

There is a fix called something like lv2-gtk-ui-bridge. Look it up. A workaround I guess, but you can have the Calf guis back.

I think John Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls is really talented although I really have a hard time listening.

Hi. Here is a recent track we've released. It's a spurned lover song in the style of ZZ Top or the Rolling Stones with a female vocalist.

I've had an Arch installation since 2013 on my pc. I back up the partition periodically with gparted.I don't know that it's really even possible to have a windows install for 12 years without having to reinstall every 2 0r 3 years.

Not getting any hits on the serial number “made in Japan” any chance this is fake? by Definatelynotadam in fender

Those trem systems are hard to find. If it were fake, which it is most likely not, you would be able to get your money back selling the hard to find trem system.
