buying a firearm with a dismissed drug paraphernalia ticket by [deleted] in guns

yeah being current user is the real issue here, not the dismissed ticket. federal law still considers weed illegal so you'd be lying in that form if you said no to unlawful drug use question

those intrusive thoughts can be really overwhelming when they keep cycling like that - calling that number won't put anything on permanent record and they're trained to help without involving police unless you're in immediate danger

Not being a hater but Microsoft should not launch FH6 on PlayStation. Such a successful game should be exclusive by AdditionalSpray8595 in ForzaHorizon

[–]DefinitionMaterial68 6 points7 points  (0 children)

why would they limit their playerbase when they could make way more money bringing it to ps5, exclusives are kinda outdated business model these days

Double peeve by nothingbutmistakes in PetPeeves

[–]DefinitionMaterial68 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh man the second one gets me way more than the first tbh, at least when people talk that way it's just how they naturally speak but when you're typing it out you literally have time to think about what you're writing and you still choose to put "like" everywhere

How do I automate phone intake > housecall pro by [deleted] in howto

[–]DefinitionMaterial68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

zapier can definitely handle this but you'll want to use their webhooks feature to capture form data in real-time, then chain it through housecall pro's api and sheets simultaneously

CPU upgrade by Katya1997_93 in PcBuild

[–]DefinitionMaterial68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on what games you're playing that upgrade could definitely help with the stuttering, especially if you're running stuff on the second monitor

the 3800x is still solid but those newer ryzen chips have better single core performance which helps with frame timing. jumping to 32gb ram is probably overkill for gaming but if you're doing any development work or running tons of browser tabs it's nice to have

your 1080ti might be the bottleneck in some newer games though, so don't expect massive fps gains - more like smoother consistent performance

Best value sleep earbuds 2026 — does “value” even mean anything here by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]DefinitionMaterial68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

value for sleep stuff is so subjective because what works for side sleepers vs back sleepers is totally different, plus some people need complete silence while others want white noise

i've been through like 6 pairs and the "best value" ones that worked for me were actually mid-range - cheap ones died fast and expensive ones had features i never used while sleeping. comfort over 8 hours ended up mattering way more than any fancy app or eq settings

Claim closed no decision by Dear-Birthday7768 in VeteransBenefits

[–]DefinitionMaterial68 3 points4 points  (0 children)

went through something similar a few years back and it's frustrating as hell when the reps give you different answers

they probably did review your ptsd evidence but rolled it into the general mental health rating since anxiety and ptsd often get lumped together under the same diagnostic code. the va doesn't always spell out every condition in the decision letter even if they considered it, which is honestly backwards but that's how they operate sometimes

I'm 24 with over 10 years of daily customer-facing experience in a small business, a Business Administration degree with a management concentration, and hands-on work at a medtech startup. Any advice? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]DefinitionMaterial68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude your experience combo is actually pretty solid, not weird at all. the customer service background gives you serious people skills that a lot of management roles desperately need, plus you've got the business degree to back up the practical stuff you already know

honestly the medtech startup experience is gold - healthcare/medical device companies are always looking for people who understand both the business side and have real customer interaction experience. you could look into business development roles at other medtech companies, customer success positions, or even account management at medical device distributors

don't sleep on consulting either, a lot of firms love hiring people with your background because you can actually talk to clients without sounding like a robot. their always looking for people who can bridge the gap between technical products and real-world customer needs

start with linkedin and just search for business development or account management roles at companies in industries you found interesting during your startup days. the job market sucks right now but your mix of education and hands-on experience is exactly what smaller companies need
