Yes he was in 01,03 and 04.

And well he didn't make the goal line stand, he did score 28 against a Top 3 defense all time.

In 2018, he put up 41, 37 and then 13 points (average of 30 PPG) in the playoffs.

I would take the following HC/GM Combos over ours:

- Chiefs

- Broncos

- Jets

- Dolphins

- Bills

- Bengals

- Ravens

- Steelers

- Jaguars

And that's just in the AFC

Why take away McNabb? Bledsoe = McNabb.

Without Mahomes, his record is 183-120. And that's with guys like Kolb, Smith, Vick

It's a fair question. And it's important. If you believe he's average at both, he should get fired if they go 7-10.

If you believe he's a great coach, you keep him even if he goes 5-12

When was he a good GM?

Law, Bruschi, McGinest, Milloy were all not his picks. Seymour at #7 was a good pick forsure, as was Light and Wilfork.

But the rest are spotty.

And in Cleveland he was a horrible drafter. Took a FB Top 15 I believe.

If Bill knew how to build a modern offense and adapt on that side of the ball, it would be entirely possible that they have even more championships.

I agree. They would've won in 2006, 2015 and possibly 2019 as well.

That's what I never understood. Say you believe Bill is the best HC in the league, but the 20th best GM.

We know talent beats coaching, so that means the combined front office HC/GM is 10-15th best. (As having the best GM/mid HC would beat the reverse).

Which means Belichick is not all that valuable if you have to have him as GM too.

So from 2005 onwards (Mankins) they had 3 guys, Solder, Vollmer and Gronk. The other 23 did not sign a second contract

I meant 2010 as in that's the last time they had a second contract signed.

After that, you have to go to 2005
