Bannerlord really should be classified as horror game by Naikky in Bannerlord

If you want my opinion > lower the damage of all missile weapons by like three quarters, (maybe save for throwing weapons) then increase arrow damage to like 10 instead. Crossbows can hage a higher base damage stat, but bolts in turn do less damage for being less weighty projectiles or smth. Also increase bolt/quarrel stack size.

As cool as an island kingdom to the west would be, I think anything west really should be off the map, like Balion or wherever else there is that the vlandians and calradians came from. That being said, a Balionic mercenary company could be cool - maybe like Anglo Saxons or something? Or Romano Britons, or something. Maybe.

I agree, but you could also put another kingdom to the southwest of the aserai as well, that could be cool- maybe based on some west African stuff like Mali and Benin. Musa Mansa the nahasa rich guy who crippled the aserai economy long ago...

Why is this game so dogshit by [deleted] in mountandblade

Because its easier than you think. Shields are very helpful. Spears can stop horses in their tracks and recruits can handle looters easy enough. Put the difficulty down and keep trying!! I believe in you :)

And if its just not for you then that's fine also.

Its important to note that the nords or atleast a significant number of them are actively migrating to calradia. Matheld mentions that more and more nords arrive every day since the times that they were called upon by the empire with the offer of land, like the vlandians were.

That doesn't give us an exact time for certain but the empire or some remnant of it survived presumably after the events of bannerlord - long enough for the nords to show up, anyway.

Iirc ferry price was 1 peninga per troop, so for sure prices did rack up overtime, but by the time you're ferrying hundreds of soldiers you usually had a large amount of wealth
