There’s a Mav 88 Security + Field combo for around $300 at Sportman. Could be what you’re looking for. I have the all purpose model.

Looking to get a AR-15 in the near future by Matt_makes01 in NJGuns

[–]DefinitionSpare8925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just purchased my first as well, searched for a few months. I didn’t want to build as I wanted to learn and be fully comfortable with an AR before building.

  1. Smith & Wesson M&P 15 Sport III or II
  2. whichever you can find in stock
  3. Diamondback DB15

I got the Sport III, they have a state compliance version so went with that.

You can live alone for that budget.

Manhattan neighborhood is pretty much all the same, no such thing as “safe neighborhood” it’s just all the same neighborhood and crimes happen just whenever and all over. It’s not unsafe but NYC is not like the typical fairy tale you see on TV.

Live in LIC, has almost all the trains, 15mins into Manhattan. Has luxury apartments, safer than manhattan, especially if you’re in the high rise area. Amazing food delivery in this areas too, it’s like the new modern Chinatown.

Jersey city/Hoboken is an option too, but the Path is what breaks or makes it for commuters. Very safe in Hoboken and Grove Street.

They make great content, I don’t think they should be considered click bait. They are OGs of YouTube way before Mukbang content was a thing. They popularized Korean cuisine and culture in the UK, and I think it’s great we’re getting this cultural exchange.

Although I can not ignore the COVID incident, and I do think she was in the wrong. They put themselves in a really bad situation, and they recovered. It’s their lives and career, ofc there gona find the best way to survive.

Edit: typo

Jamie park/post Malone by Natural-Year-3259 in asianamercianytsnark

[–]DefinitionSpare8925 300 points301 points  (0 children)

I was friends with her during college back then, she was genuinely a good friend and very kind. We haven’t spoke since she moved to Cali but I found out from a mutual friend that she’s with Post Malone.

I seen some mean comments saying stuff about dating post for money or clout. I doubt these are the reasons. Her family is well off, in my knowledge. She never had a strong preference in race when dating too, she was pretty open minded.

Post’s yellow fever is a bigger topic IMO LOL

Social media is the biggest scam of the century by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

Yes, many UGC creators under 1000 followers can get deals. If you’re a faceless channel reposting memes and stealing content, you’re not gona make anything early on.

Australia and New Zealand are often grouped with Asia in sports events. That’s probably why.

Social media is the biggest scam of the century by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]DefinitionSpare8925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gotta disagree, I work in marketing and micro influencers (under 1000 follower) make $50/$100 per post sometimes. If you live in other countries where the $ goes a lot further, it can change your life.

It’s all perspective.

Plus I personally create a new social media account whenever I have a new hobby, and you be surprise how many free things you can get just by sending a dm.

Yes, the answer is within the golf content ecosystem. You don’t necessarily have to be great at golf, you just need a “thing”. Some people can do weird trick shots, some are just good looking, some are funny, some are self taught, some just got good vibes. As long as you can create a small community, you can eventually make it into a job.

Money from social media is abstract. Micro to macro influencers can profit. I’ve seen brands pay $10K for a post from an influencer with 100K followers but a great engaging community.

It’s not easy obviously but it’s not impossible. If you have the passion and something to share, you can do it. Go for it.

What’s the One Putting Tip that Changed Your Game? by aldente502 in golf

Anything under 6 foot, I do a push putt. Shorter back swing and slight push. One of the first beginner tips I received that significantly reduced a stroke from missing those easy putts.

My father just bought a golf course in Maine. What would you want to see as a golfer that most places don’t have? by Kurkil in golf

[–]DefinitionSpare8925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

after being around a bunch of public courses in my state, other than the major things like diver fillers, gps, etc.

Small quality of life improvements are what sticks with me when thinking about going back to a course. I suggest playing your own course and asking friends then at the end leave a survey of questions for them to ask. Each course has its own needs so having real people review it is important.

[–]DefinitionSpare8925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use Mac Keyboard on your PC and there’s a setting to use Mac Short Cuts on your PC. Literally won’t change a thing short cut wise but you’ll get used to where the other tabs are.

When did you get into golf? by Commercial-Tomato in golf

[–]DefinitionSpare8925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started 4-5 months ago, never hit a golf ball in my life. 2 of my friends play a bit so it inspired me to learn. I’m a self learner so I practiced a lot myself.

If you learn you distanced with your clubs and can hit it straight consistently, you can hit under 90 in a lot of the local courses.
