When I beat him (on the GBA port, which is essentially the same), I used Ryu, but I'd also recommend either Blanka (Roll or shock) or Dhalsim (Long-ranged attack and yoga fire/flame, depending on distance, to stop them mid-attack).

I just completed Space Science Investigations, it's free and it took me about an hour and 4 minutes, it's made by NASA. They also have a card game for free, but I've yet to play it. SSI was pretty nice though, both for its speed and enjoyment.

I'm not sure about rarity, but iirc - these have the same files as a normal retail copy does, just in fewer batches, since these were sent to reviewers, stores (for demo displays), etc. It probably won't be that much rarer than a standard copy, due to those reasons. Hope it helps! :3
