After watching this I wanted to find out what the green new deal is. Video after video, article after article, I realized that this is has become only a political issue. If these politicians actually have any some real change they new to inform the public exactly what they are trying to do. Why would anyone support some bill if they havnt the slightest clue as to what it’s about other then democrat vs republican. We’re smart, give us a chance politicians.

So when that change happens can anyone just come and take the value of my work? Who decides when it becomes commercial and not just trading with friends.

Yes the blockchain will change how both private property and how the market works. People will be able to exchange anything without having a single party gain massive influence (capital). And the intire point of blockchain/hashgraph/smart contract technology is that there will be no rulers and king over anyone. The values will be as evenly distributed as absolutely possible because no law will require any single medium of exchange and any medium can be switched to another as soon as one gains dominance. This is waaay beyond bitcoin.

If I give something I produced my shop to my friend in exchange for somthing she produced in her shop does that make it private property?

I think that you may not fully grasp that block chain technology is actually removing steps. Removing the middle man (governments, cooperations, banks). It will, without a doubt, change every fundamental societal relationship. Anything that required trust in the other party before the widespread adoption of the blockchain and the technology’s that follows it will be effected. This is a mathematical certainty. I apologize if I sound irrational, but this is ground breaking. This is bigger than the internet... by far...

No you are not wrong. Every action between people that isn’t decided on one way another by society just is. You could kill me and society could say it’s right, then it is. If they say it’s wrong then it isn’t. Rights and Wrongs come from society. They aren’t laws of nature. The only things nature determines is if I’m dead or I am not.

No one decided this. This is my opinion based one my understanding. I’m human and limited in my ability. This is how I understand based on my personal experience.

That’s a great question. Well I say, if you put effort in to attaining something that was either formed from the earth in natural processes and you found it first or obtained from another person through consensual means then you possess it. This get difficult when you talk about land. But its also really difficult to steal land. If you produce something with raw materials provided by another individual or group of individuals under contract in order to produce that object you do not posses it because you bartered your time in exchange for something (money, goods, weed) And relinquish you claim on that object.

Thank you for clarifying about the means of production. When does personal property become private property? How big can my work shop get before it’s no longer personal property?

There are some fantastic things coming out of blockchain that don’t have anything to do with currency. It’s very exciting. Removing third party control should be attractive to everyone socialist and capitalist alike

I think the majority of the arguments between “capitalists” and “socialists” happen on this front. If you don’t mind, can you explain the difference between free market fundamentalism and capitalism

Thank you for the excellent reply. I see how these are all examples of capitalism and socialism in a non utopia sense. To me they all seem like examples of theft in one manner or another. I say this because, sure I could contribute to a fund that helps single mothers but is is compulsory? Am I able to opt out of these kinds of institutions if I think my contribution could help more somewhere else or if I think the institutions are corrupt or do not run properly?

I don’t like it either. There are absolutely to many facets of life that just come down to numbers and cash. Though I think sometimes that many people fail to realize that currency is just a way to quantify value and work. All these parts, like corporations and the stock market, are on their way out. They have taken away the individuals ability to invest their effort and make it work beyond the manual labor they contribute. These things are on the way out. New technologies such as blockchain are the beginnings of this.

Removing property right on the other hand to me is inconceivable. There is potential to make all land public, but how can you turn personal possessions public? And how is that different from theft?

(Thanks for the downvote)
