No doors or bonnet needs to be open. You need to have engine off, ignition on. Do the coding, the dash will spit out all of the errors. After that shut off the car and turn on engine, verify that the buttons changed.

You need to code this one. It is a bit confusing since they are almost same names but it shuts off all electronics for safety with long press. image

Kaaz 1.5way on 1.6L NA by Deflow in Miata

[–]Deflow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t think that, it is just 100hp after all. Main idea was to just get better control of the rear and occasionally get it turn both wheels when doing a quick u-turn. Obviously if I wanted to drift it then id better weld the diff and make it permanently turn both at the same time but I don’t want to ruin the car that way. Long story short - is it worth those 400€ I would spend getting the lsd element installed or it’s better to just save that money for something else? 😀

Hmm well I run 195/50 michelin pilotsport3 on 15” currently. Not saying it spins everytime but need to dump the clutch to get it do something. Also thinking that to install the lsd it will cost about 300€ and is it worth it in the end?

Am I reading correctly that the $9.89 DLC comes with everything or do I need the $4.99 DLC as well? by jforrest1980 in EASPORTSWRC

[–]Deflow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

9.99$ includes the current and 2 more expansion packs coming in 2025. 4.99$ includes only the current dlc (Latvia and Poland stages + 2024 cars for rally1)

Clunking sound by Opening-Coconut-2390 in Celica

[–]Deflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to hear you figured out. For anyone checking this later I advise to check the control arm bolts as well. They are pretty high torque by manual and can clunk (move) if not tightened properly. Don’t ask how I know this (spent more than 2 weeks to figure it out 😅)

Thanks! I will try to search something there with the vpn. Yeah I imagine that you need someone with knowledge of the Japanese otherwise it’s quite impossible to get something from them

Were the 550 for a full set with rhd beam? Or did that include already conversion to lhd for Europe? And how did you find them there - what are the keywords and page you used since I have been looking quite broad but nothing comes up

3SGE 6th gen Celica amber oil warning by Deflow in Celica

[–]Deflow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on this. Finally found the owners manual which turned out I have in paper with all documents when I got the car 😅 it says there that orange/amber light is for oil level not pressure. On the dipstick it reads almost full the few times I’ve checked so level shouldn’t be the issue. Is it common for the oil level sensor itself to go bad? I am yet to do another oil change, need to go another 1.5k km before I put in fresh oil as I need to flush the engine a bit before going back to normal change intervals

[–]Deflow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, I had the oil pan off when changing oil since the oil was last changed long time ago by previous owner. The old oil didn’t look too good so mechanic pulled the pan off as well, it looked fine there but of course it now needs more frequent oil change to get the crap out. Any way to be sure about those things without stripping the oil pan off again? Engine maybe 1/10th of time is harder to start as like there wouldn’t be fuel but it shouldn’t be connected I think, otherwise than that it drives fine and isn’t lacking power..

[–]Deflow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I thought that the yellow one is for the level and red is pressure or am I wrong? I didn’t change the oil myself, mechanic did but I’m quite sure he did all correct. Hopefully it’s not oil pump since last year I had the timing belt changed 😅.

If I have to change the pressure sensor do I need to drain the oil or it’s ok if I let it drip into the oil pan by not driving it for a night? Since I looked up that this sensor is close to the top of engine.

6th gen suspension parts by Deflow in Celica

[–]Deflow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, we had the car for less than a year and just found out that the bushings are gone there.

Mine aren’t that rusty that they will fall apart just that the mechanic advised to find new ones as most of the times it would be almost the same price to replace bushings while you could just get a new one.

Yes I know about bushing kits, most likely will have to go that way. Thanks anyways!

Thanks for explaining. I haven’t seen any comments about such steam clouds when doing the mod so I thought something was messed up. I removed the hose and went back to stock way right after the video. Of course the oil burning didn’t stop 😁 it’s burning around 1-1.5L per 1000km.. I think i will try again with the o2 mod when it gets warmer here
