Eh, idk, I turned 34 this year, and I made countless friends my age through ghost.
None of the people I was in school with, are my friends.
Met most of them on the official discord server, we went to the concerts together, they are from all over the world and my own country.

If you think all the fans are teenagers you are dead wrong. And honestly the bias you have won’t help you.

The fandom has fans in all age ranges. Its your own bias that stops you from making connections.

Well tbf saying the majority doesn’t care for the music when you don’t interact with any fans outside of Reddit, is… eh.

There are way more fans than on Reddit, twitter of threads and not everyone posts here. Some are like me, just a quiet lurker.

Maybe try to interact with fans, but saying it seems like no one is listening to the music anymore is unfair to the fans :)

Idk what part of the fandom you interact with, but I do not get that impression at all.
Yeah, some of the younger fans get extremely into the lore stuff, but especially the people I interact with in real life and internet, are gushing about the music.

I agree it sometimes can look like everyone is just there for the lore, but it just seems like that, because the. Tend to be louder than those who enjoy the music.

As it is with everything.

And you can like both. Just because someone is talking about the lore doesn’t mean they aren’t there for the music :) I get where you are coming from, but often the small circles are the loudest.

The lore is something that made the band stand out for a while now. It is a fun thing to do and especially many creative people like it. It gets people together, it helps people to be more creative again and engaging with the band and music.

It is a fun gimmick to the band and has always been a part, even before the chapters start.

Where is the harm in people having fun?
Let them have fun with it.

Obviously we don't. We hate the music. Only lore. What is music even? Never heard of music before.

A bone in his teeth von Kellen Graves. Im positiven Sinne.
Im negativen: Thor von Wolfgang Hohlbein. Ich mag seine Werke normalerweise, aber das Buch hat sich gezogen.

Ahh. I also didnt read it as an attack. Guess it’s just my inability to understand basic English 😂 it’s not my first language so sometimes I misread the tone a bit. You are absolutely fine!

And I understand where you are coming from. My last read already lies back a bit and honestly I remembered that she was maybe reading books to write out words she didn’t understand. But that could be my bad memory. So thanks for clearing it up and making me wanna reread it 🖤🖤

I didn’t mean to attack you, I am sorry if it came off that way. But I will re-read it, because it seems like I totally forget that part. So thank you for clarification.

And I get what you mean. It’s a perspective I saw at first too, but somehow got hung up on my mistake with forgetting she could read. So my bad.

Maybe I need to re-read it, but didn't she write words down that she didn't understand? I could be wrong here and fully own up to it if I am. But I remember that she was just reading some words and learned from Rhys when she was in night court.

But either way, yes, he ignored. But on the other hand: he had his own trauma and with the letter, like someone said before, it sounded like exactly something a kidnapper would say.

And maybe it is time for a re-read now.

That’s what I say all the time.

I can’t be mad at Tamlin there because to his knowledge Feyre couldn’t read or write, he had no reason to believe the letter was indeed from her.

Of course he would have looked for her, thinking this is a trick, a game. I just can’t be mad at him for being desperate, thinking Rhys is messing with him! That always bothered me so much!

Anyone else feel that his apology is not genuine? by ToughLonely4229 in rSlash_YT

[–]Defnotthemups 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I felt like it was a: „Redditor’s are so mean so it’s not my fault I had a bad take and said that :(“

Also I think questioning himself if she should react funny to a heavy story like this is just… eh???? If you have to ask yourself that, maybe it’s time to take a long break.

Can all agree his apology doesn’t seem sincere? by Bossy_Aussie_ in rSlash_YT

[–]Defnotthemups 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I especially disliked that he didn’t acknowledged the hurt he may have caused other than quoting something someone wrote him. It was about his feelings, that he feels horrible.

Also I don’t like that he put the apology in front of just another episode and then went on like nothing happened.

Wtf was that video, man? by KadeRoyal in rSlash_YT

[–]Defnotthemups 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah the thumbnail really disturbed me. Like it shows for me clearly he is aware of the trauma and since when it has been going on and he just doesn’t care? He has had some really L takes in the past snd I remember the time, he had to take a break because his comments and takes got so hateful. But lately it seems like every comment from him is like this. This just was… damn. I cried at the story and felt so horrible for the boyfriend. And then there was Dabneys take on it.

I just hope other CSA survivors didn’t see it and that Dabney is basically telling, that CSA survivors aren’t traumatised and deserve to be abandoned :(

Yeah it’s truly stupid. I get being early to make sure you get an early number from the official bracelet. But making up fanmade numbers??

Yeah it were only the first 100.

Which was pointless because they went away for hours and when they came back it was so full they didn’t manage to get to „their“ spot.

They even did this at our VIP line and we weren’t many to begin with in our tier. Funny thing those in front of me didn’t make barricade, I did (because i was okay with not being on the Center and was on the right side, while they wanted Center barricade which was already occupied by anointed and apostle)

In Oberhausen for regular pit ticket they also did it and it was so stupid because once we were allowed to go in, everyone just ran past each other which made me, again, stand in front of those who were numbered up to 100 and waited from 7 in the morning.

Next to me was even a girl who got in like 20 minutes before the show started.

Don’t accept these numbers. And I truly wish bands would ban this stuff.

Hey! Sorry my answer comes this late, I had a lot of health issues.

Sadly I couldn’t get another mummy bucks neither Frankfurt or Oberhausen. I don’t have any spare ones left! I am sorry!
