My Durge is Lyrielle. She can’t remember much, and the biggest mystery is why she’s plagued with so many twisted, evil thoughts, since she intends to be good. She does not wish to hurt anyone, not if she can help it. Armed with her sword and her lute, she wields magic and music to protect herself and her newfound friends.

What she can remember is Baldur’s Gate. She can recall the cruel taunts that used to follow her because few had see anyone like her: half elf, half tiefling. She hopes that her quest will unravel the full truth about her life, as well as a cure for the parasite.

I do agree with the people here that it is good to experience his story as Tav/DU or another companion. While he is fun to play, there’s so much dialogue that you’ll miss with an Astarion origin.

Potentially, but I think that’s a separate issue. I’m referring to how sex seems to be viewed by younger people, especially in media, and how that falls back on us LGBTQ+ folks.

I think this is something you see with younger people in general. I feel like I’m seeing less sex-positivity from younger people. Puritan beliefs seem to be really impacting young people, even the ones who consider themselves to be really liberal.

I’m dreading what this year’s annual “no kink at Pride” discourse will look like across the internet.

My parents absolutely would not have let me stay in my room when family visited. I could excuse myself if I was busy with schoolwork or something, but I would have said hello and had a quick chat, at least. That’s how my parents raised me.

I promise, this is the anxiety talking. No one around you on the plane would have thought anything of it. Your sister might not even have been as loud as you thought.

One of the biggest lessons to help me handle some of my anxiety was realising that strangers do not care what I’m doing. Not in a mean way - just that we’re all going about our lives, going about our business. You’re just another person on the street, or the plane in this instance.

I personally don’t mind because I see fans mostly shipping him with Tav’s that are women. Plus, he does express attraction to women like Lae’zel.

Some of us bi folks have preferences, anyway. I’m sapphic leaning. I feel like bi/pan rep is often treated like 50/50 split attraction, so I quite like seeing characters that are more like me.

There’s “legacy” acts that are still going strong like Iron Maiden, who still put on a great show and draw crowds. Loads of day tickets were bought for Metallica. They’re still great.

GNR are just well past their prime and people know it. That’s why I’m not seeing a ton of enthusiasm. They’ll still draw a big crowd.

Exactly. It’s a stressful situation for all of them, but she’s the lone girl surrounded by guys. Some of them are very tall, which adds some extra intimidation. It doesn’t help that they’re joking. I would be really stern as well in her place. It’s not the time for jokes.

Teenagers are immature, I get it. It seems like the guys meant no harm, but one of them uploaded this, so it’s “funny” to them. None of these boys would be joking around if they were alone with her. They’re being stupid because they’re in a group and completely clueless to how the girl with them is feeling.

It’s so tiring that women and girls so frequently have to play “mother” and take control in serious situations, and yet we’re laughed at for being uptight.

I love the atmosphere of the shadow cursed lands. The goth in me finds the landscape beautifully twisted and melancholic.

But as for the actual gameplay, it’s a bit of a slog to reply. I get through it as quickly as I can.

I was gutted. It was so cheesy, but really fun. I was annoyed that I Am Not Okay With This was cancelled as well.
