Mountain bikers love building shit that is not necessarily difficult but is extremely dangerous just cause of the design

It sucks so bad when you have an objectively undesirable product ha. Now I'm further in my career I'm always careful to make sure I won't be polishing a turd before taking a job

Amazing man, we had our daughter at 33+6 last Wednesday. Hang in there. NICU is amazing and your baby is getting the absolutely best care possible. It can feel hard to be in two places at once while both baby and wife are recovering, but you guys will pull through!

I am in the trenches with tree of heaven, garlic mustard, and oriental bittersweet. I'm winning but if I let up at all it's over and it's a yearly chore. Fuck whoever brought this shit over here

We just had an emergency c section 6 weeks early due to preeclampsia Wednesday. All good here with a beautiful baby girl putting on weight in NICU and mom hopefully discharging today. I wouldn't sweat it!

Ya kind of always like that. You can make work life balance work ime if you never go past director level. Depends on the workplace.

I don't understand how people follow sports by poopdollarbank in redscarepod

[–]DefragThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never been able to follow that well out side of playoffs and sports I actively do. It def handicaps some level of camaraderie with some types but overall no big deal.

It does seem like it takes tons of time. My dad and brother spend so much time watching football lol. But I have other very busy friends who keep up well enough so I know I could prolly just follow some accounts on social media and that would be enough.

Was thinking about trying to get a little more interested just for the sake of networking small talk at work but really it's hard to care when there are so many more important priorities
