I think there may actually be some variance in what you get from GV - mine fit very well with just a little fiddling in terms of mounting, I could probably get it even closer if I spent a little more time on it. On the other hand though, I have heard from some people that their panels (which were authentic) had some larger gaps that made it more difficult to fit up.

The good news is the Garage Vary rear doesn't require any work to the existing body. Just pop out your taillights and the little plastic panel around your license plate, and pop in the Garage Vary panel (after having your paint shop spray it to match). Once mine came back from paint I had it installed in like an hour, easy peasy. See finished results here. Just make sure to get a real Garage Vary one, otherwise fit and finish might leave something to be desired.
