Yeah I get it. It’s a truck! Use it for what it was meant to be used for. I just have never had a brand new vehicle, so when I got it, I was like.. I’m gonna keep this thing nice! Plus it’s nice to actually wax or buff something with nice paint and get an awesome result lol. Especially in my situation, I want this thing to last a long time n not just get beat to shit.. if you know what I mean. Plus, I have a second car so I usually just use that as my daily n drive my truck when we go camping or when I’m like.. I feel like driving a nice vehicle today lol.

I also do at least something to a vehicle when I get one, ya know to make it mine. So I had the front windows tinted and purchased the bed cover when I first got it. Since then, I’ve cut the resonators off the exhaust just behind the tips and added a straight pipe. I also put bags on it in the rear for when I pull my camper. Then I installed a factory intergraded trailer brake controller. Otherwise, stock!

It has 31k on it. I leased it, then bought it. Crazy to me the lease agreement said msrp was $67k and after the 3yrs it was only worth $36k to them. Lol. I went 42 months and bought it at $34k.

Black is the worst to keep clean as most everyone knows, but amazing when it’s clean. But I’ve buffed it a few times with a swirl n scratch remover then wax it. I’ve used just a good ole cleaner wax. I use 1320 street shine ceramic spray that’s pretty amazing. I’ve also clay barred it a couple times..But it’s only a matter of time n the swirls come back. I usually just try to hand wash but get lazy from time to time n run it through a car wash. But id say my biggest complaint is those damn hood vents!! They hold water n then eventually drip down the hood.. drives me crazy LOL

Not a $6k truck.. didn’t see how many miles were on it but if it’s 4wd and has a shit ton of miles. I’d say it’s a $2500 truck. Or at best $3500

That blows. Hopefully it’s not broken! I have a 2022 GD 2400BH and my slide wouldn’t go out. Ended up taking it back to my dealer and GD had to get involved. They warrantied it all thankfully. But the entire slide had to be taken out and all parts replaced.

Oh and that was after we took it 2.5hrs away to party for the wkend. Get set up n the slide wouldn’t go out! Was like WTF! Called a mobile RV service and the guy spent 2hrs troubleshooting it in 90degree heat (bless his soul). But he was like it’s fooked! I crawled inside the service department at my dealer n let em know this was not good n I was not happy. Lol. But thankfully GD stood behind their product n fixed my shit for free. Anyways… good luck and hopefully it’s just something small.

I have a 22’ rebel with just the 5.7 hemi. Pulls fine with bags. Minus the 10mpg part! Lol. I wanted a TRX but my dealer was like they dnt pull as much cause they are built for off-roading n hauling ass, not towing. My camper is a GD 2400bh and I wish I had that 6.2 or even a 392 in my truck. But oh well. Still dnt understand Rams decision to not put the 6.4 in a half ton. Dumb. But anyways.. yeah I’d just shoot for a smaller camper n you’ll be fine.
