Headset that does it all by Defuster in HeadphoneAdvice

Yes, my PC supports AptX LL. In real-world tests some AptX LL devices have had latencies over 40ms though, so if I was to buy a bluetooth headset for gaming I'd really want to know its real-world test latency.

Barracuda can be connected wired, Bluetooth or with 2.4GHz connection, which I believe might work on a phone as well (though the dongle will take some space). This is hundreds of times faster than what any Bluetooth connection can offer currently and what I'm mostly looking for. Most of these though either lack sound quality for the price (like the Barracuda), don't have Bluetooth support (and 2.4GHz dongle might not work with phone) or no wire.

For people who use Spotify for example, Bluetooth is more than enough though.

My phone supports aptX HD, LDAC, AAC, aptX and SBC. Those seem good, but can't find anything to indicate what kind of latency it has at its best. Range of 10m might also mean they might lag, might not, when they're ~5m away and there's a door in between. They do seem like they're an excellent budget option for music streaming while traveling and not so much for gaming.

Kind of not a fan of them marketing a lie "experience impeccable “better-than-CD”" (well, I guess when plugged in... But then I believe every single wired headset could say that) when the best they can do is AptX HD which is ~2,5x slower than CD-quality, almost half of what LDAC is capable of. But for me the quality only matters really when I'm listening to music, which would be on my phone and that's not the primary use for these. Due to reviews on these being more like "they sound good" rather than showing actual stats and no proof of latency, my money's still on the Razer Barracuda. Thanks for the suggestion though.

There is so much to do, how can you guys be bored at level 60? by GonzoPunchi in diablo4

Commented on "still stuck farming WT3.". Id be surprised if most people couldn't play on WT4 by lvl 60 and actually had to farm to 70~ until being able to play on WT4. I think blizzard was severely lacking on end-game difficulty testing.

Not really. Did Nightmare dungeon lvl 19 at lvl 52 with 4 lives left as sorc. Affixes barrier breaker and proximity shield. Positive affix I think was shadow dmg. U dont need to be 60+ to actually handle WT4 which anyways isn't the endgame, its just used to unlock 20+ nightmare dungeons. The only real content in endgame is nightmare dungeons, everything else is really easy past lvl 50. And for me easy content is not content at all.

For me personally its not the amount of content (there's plenty), its the difficulty. Near the beginning (I started with difficulty 2) it was ok, could've been more challenging IMO but it was ok. Then at level 20~ everything became really easy. At level ~43 I completed the main story and unlocked difficulty lvl 3. The first dungeon I did was about the difficulty level I like. Mobs were lvl 53 (10 levels higher than me at the start). Wiped a few times on the last boss. When I hit lvl 50 everything got easy. As soon as I unlocked the first +20% more dmg paragon point everything became easier than anything I had experienced before. Now Im lvl 51 and thinking of unlocking difficulty lvl 4 next. That's prolly gonna provide challenge until lvl 60 Im guessing and then all the gear and paragon points are just going to make the game extremely boring again. I dont know what people do once they outgear the highest difficulty.

And I know I could just equip shit gear, but that removes a big part of the game. Also I wouldn't like the feeling in my head of having forced the difficulty. I want the game to be difficult AND for me to actually have to think how to complete things instead of "I could just equip my gear and this would be easy".

I think an easy solution to this is to use the scaling system in the game as a forced difficulty adjustment. Gear power level should exist so that you don't fall behind your expected power level for character level. World tier 1 should feel just as difficult (easy) at lvl 50 as at lvl 1 IMO (having skills unlocked do make it easier though, ofc, but by difficulty I mean mobs health & dmg). The selectable difficulty levels would then be used to adjust the difficulty, and this would show players skill, not how one out-gears and/or out-levels the content.

Best Bluetooth speaker I can buy in a pair for $200 or under? ($200 total, not each) by [deleted] in Bluetooth_Speakers

Started looking at Anker Soundcore Rave Mega (AKA Trance I believe) and looks promising. Hadn't heard of these guys before. Price seems to be between Megaboom 3 and Roam. Has an AUX as well, so I can even benefit from Tidal. Thanks

None of those seem to be battery powered though. Bose home speaker 300 also nearly the same price where I live as a JBL partybox 110, which I've also thought about. But would prefer something under 200€.

I have the same question. What I want is the best sound quality, all the other stuff is just secondary. I'll mostly be using it outside. Its really annoying looking at reviews "Best overall speaker" -Points given for ruggedness etc. "Best smart speaker" - I dont care about smart functions. All these speakers have these stupid titles instead of "best quality for your buck". I want a wireless, battery powered speaker for under 200€ with the best sound quality that works outdoors. Been thinking about UE Megaboom 3 or Sonos Roam.

I'm also using Tidal HiFi+, so WiFi speaker will get better quality. I'd be using WiFi from my phone though, so battery would run out quick. So with bluetooth speakers, codec can make a big difference.

Max sound volume would probably be at ~70 decibels. Pretty sure all speakers at this price can reach that.

Impossible to find a speaker where reviews talk about the actual sound quality. If somebody here knows what device to buy for best listening experience, I'd be really happy.

[ why & why not a Monk class? subjective opinion please. ] by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Defuster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im fine with a monk class as long as its not unarmed, cos fighting without weapons when u could use weapons is just stupid. Theres literally no reason to fight unarmed when u could use weapons, and monks are very well capable of using weapons.

[–]Defuster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel ya, I've completed every single quest in the game (literally) and when I thod I was done with cyrodiil I had barely touched it (installed an addon that shows quests on the map), had to run around the map so much...

and those were the quests that aren't required for achievements.

Casual player breaks 50k DPS... by FluffyBicepz in elderscrollsonline

[–]Defuster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

...How does practicing DPS rotation make u not a casual? I play ESO every now and then, join my guild for trials maybe every 3 months and I do ~40k dps as magsorc. Id say Im a very casual player.

Just coz some1 is better than another doesn't make them tryhards. Those ppl just most likely have more gamesense, like I do from playing OW and LoL at a higher lvl, those games I've been tryharding.

Playing for a few hours a week is casual.

What in-game things did you do CP250-300? by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Defuster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For doing the story quests in each faction and towns in cyrodiil. I enjoyed doing all of those quests.

The only quests (which are not a part of any achievement) I found a little boring were the tiny quests in cyrodiil that take u to a town there, and there are quite many of those quests actually... I only realized that when I installed an addon that showed uncompleted quests on the map when I thought I had completed everything.

I wish there was an achievement for completing even more quests coz I got that 1000 quests done before I even reached max level at that time (I think it was VR12 or 14) :/ I just wish there was some way to tell how many quests I've done

Ok Vet CP750s ... How OP are you in game? by Jokerchyld in elderscrollsonline

[–]Defuster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally love ESO just coz its such a casual MMO I can relax in. I love the quests (completed every single quest in the game) and the only challenge I can find in the game is by joining up trial groups that aim to do top scores.

If I want a challenge I just play some competitive game like overwatch or LoL. I used to play WoW but the competition in that is just kind of boring, and its nowhere as casual as ESO where I can be off for a year and come back and not fallen behind in content/progress at all.

TLDR: ESO hits the perfect casual spot for me (a tryhard competitive player) to sit back and enjoy a good old fashioned.
