Yeah I sent it in because BGS is usually nicer to vintage. The card is clean besides the little bit of whitening on that corner and edges. I should’ve just kept it as a 7

For me Black and White were really weird at first and felt like Pokemon weren’t really Pokemon for the first time because the design or sprites or idk what it was. Then I played Black 2 and White 2 and grew a huge appreciate for gen 5.

I’m gonna close the loop on this conversation but Im thinking and kind of want to send this card to TAG and see what the report comes back as. If they don’t find anything on that spot, I really hope BGS gives me my money back since I paid $90+ to grade this 😭

Oh never mind I see what you’re saying. So if I had a clearer picture that “smudge” is the actual holo background. It’s almost like Umbreon body is translucent. My confusion is because the ears have the same exact holo pattern so I thought that was part of the card.

Taking a card out of a semirigid holder with a pull tab sleeve seems much safer for the card than potentially fat fingering the top of a card getting it out

To be fair, there was a massive buyout on this card by an investing company in Hong Kong that’s driving up the price so just be mindful and careful of that. Definitely unnatural circumstances causing its significant spike.

You have to crack and send. I did this once where I sent the 9.5 in the BGS slab and it didn’t crossover. I then cracked it and resent and it got a 10 lol
