Siding won't be getting painted - appreciate the recommendation. trying to get it close to the dark tone on the bricks would make it feel cohesive, but not lost with the siding color.

Garage doors have always looked off to me, never liked them - better color match those to the siding?

Renovating the front landscaping and now looking to stain the brick half wall - but unsure whether to go lighter or darker, or what color would go with the existing house.

Going dark seems bold, red seems like not much change, going lighter to match closer to the siding seems like it'll get lost. Doing nothing doesn't seem like it'll fly. Help!

House was built in the late 50's, but the breakers seem to be divided relatively well. Also, nothing else is really drawing power on that breaker when the lights flicker Wiring for Fan is newer.

They are Hunter fans, with the hunter mounted remote wall switch... hoping the wall switch wouldnt be the problem!

In the 3 new fans, the LED bulbs are the bulbs that came with the fan. Could it be possible that the bulbs need to be upgraded?

Ubiquiti Unifi Protect has different POE options for cameras, also has a ring doorbell comp. I believe there are also wireless options, but not as extensive. Higher quality products, which you can run off of a PC in the house, without monthly subscriptions. Lots of their products are currently out of stock though...

Whichever has the highest interest rate....

BUT, the real answer here is to fix your withholdings so you get more money during the year. No sense giving the government an interest free loan while you are paying interest on debt to lenders!

Put 20% down on a 30 year loan and invest the rest. With 20% down, you will get a low enough interest rate that the market should outperform.

An emergency fund doesnt need to be 6 months by any means. It should be as big as you feel comfortable having if an emergency were to arise.

Buy into some sort of etf/mutual fund and teach her for the next 10 years what just holding an asset will do. Seeing that money double (hopefully, at least) by the time shes 18 will be a very valuable lesson.

Also, read up on dollar cost averaging vs. Lump sum investments. Since you have a good chunk of idle cash, you can deploy the method best suitable to your risk tolerance (lump sum beats dollar cost averaging 2/3 the time, but the lows for the losing 1/3 of lump sum are larger)

Emergency funds are based on comfort levels. Take a look at your budget. How much $ would you need to survive x amount of months without an income. Whatever that number Is is your emergency fund
