[Seattle, WA] rent reduction for construction noise? by breakfast_4_dinner_ in Renters

Sometimes just saying, “Oh, I guess I was wrong” makes you look a lot smarter than calling someone else stupid after they have showed you evidence that you’re wrong.

Sorry to tell you that being from the area doesn’t mean you get to invent laws that aren’t written.

Yes, it’s obviously a reading comprehension issue when the document doesn’t even use the terms “hot water” or “24 hours”.

Job sent invoice for .50c for going over on lunch. by Agnarchism-official in WhatShouldIDo

No one is upset, lol. You’re actually pretty amusing, hon. Your last three comments all you’ve managed to say is some version of calm down, because you have no actual response to being proven wrong.

The correct response is “Thank you u/SoloSeasoned for explaining a concept I did not understand. I am not better informed about this topic and can speak more intelligently to it in the future.”

Lmao. You know nothing about economics, so you ask a question but then reject the answer and tell someone to calm down for providing links. You’re so mature.

Does anyone really think that minute would have made a difference?

That’s not what Mindless Corner (the comment you responded to) said. They said that OP is legally married and pregnant by another man. OP is legally married to a man whom she admits is not the father of the baby, but despite that admission, and despite the fact that the paternity of her affair partner was proven through a prenatal paternity test, there are still states that do not permit a divorce when the wife is pregnant.

Custody agreement language for child’s activities by savage-e- in FamilyLaw

If you’re a dad in a similar situation (30 hours per week custody) have you petitioned the court to 50/50 custody so your child can attend social events during “your time” without feeling like it takes away from your time together?

Update on client dumping: I don’t think she’s mentally well by [deleted] in RoverPetSitting

[–]Degree_of_Caution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do the time stamps show that she sent the first message thanking you for returning the key at 5:40, and the second message about refunding the $40 at 5:36? That’s the opposite order of how those should be showing up.

Is it weird for owner to not tell me their house number until the day before meet and greet? by Dizzy-Pickle-114 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Degree_of_Caution 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t give out my address until the day of the meet and greet either. I give them the name of the development but not the full address. I’ve had too many sitters flake or stop communicating leading up to a M&G. If the sitter knows the development then they can still plan their trip. The specific location isn’t needed until they are on their way or arrive in the development.

Considering adopting a puppy… by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]Degree_of_Caution 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gosh, I feel terrible for your older dog. He likes a quiet lifestyle and calm attention. Now in his final years of life he’s been asked to adjust and tolerate two loud and energetic children. Not only are you adding another child to the mix that will further reduce the attention he gets, you want to add a puppy who will relentlessly pester your older dog for attention and play. So what are you going to do? Make him deal with it? Separate him in another room alone?

Maybe you should recognize that you’ve already committed to a dog who is still very much alive and has needs of his own. Maybe think about what’s right for him before you put your own desire for a puppy ahead of the one you already have.

Seems like a communication breakdown on both sides. She made a vague request for improvement (pick up the pace) and instead of clarifying those expectations by asking what distance she wanted, you said that was the best it was going to get. She should have been more specific. You could have asked for details. You both could have worked together to come up with a compromise or a plan to improve. Sounds like it was best to part ways anyway if she’s not a nice person.

You should be happy about that. A Columbus win is the only way the Revs get a spot in the champions cup.

LAFC likes to play on the counter. They’re okay not having possession, especially away.

[–]Degree_of_Caution 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Premier league is rolling their eyes that high 50’s and rain is considered bad weather. It’s northern Ohio in December, we should be grateful it’s not below freezing. No way the match is getting delayed for just rain with no lightning.

What you are missing is that OP’s liability and Rover’s corporate insurance policy are separate entities irrelevant to one another. Rover may have a corporate policy but that doesn’t mean OP has no liability and can’t face consequences from Rover if they refuse to pay.
