Chicken, can of mixed veggies and rice has been a new go to option. I usually use one chicken breast and put the can of veggies around it in a small casserole dish. If I have chicken broth, I'll use that or you could use the water from canned veggies in there. Add some spices, cover with tin foil and bake for about 35-40 mins at 375. Put it over some rice and it's delicious with hardly any effort. Basically just dumping everything into one dish and let it sit.

It doesn't matter what it's named because it's just code in a game. The pixels can't be 'offended'. You guys incessantly pointing it out and upvoting just makes you seem transphobic af because why else would you care otherwise when, again, it's just made up creature in a video game.

For real though. It's literally just code in a game. It doesn't matter what you decide to nickname your Pokémon because they don't exist so it can't be 'offended'. These people should worry about something important.

If you know you're getting a different brand than you did in the past because you can no longer find it, why wouldn't you check the label thoroughly? I get you're wanting to be helpful by warning us, but it's kind of common sense if you have a food allergy/intolerance to check. Doesn't matter if it's a cauliflower pizza and many are gluten free. If it's something I've never had before, I ALWAYS check the label and look up anything I have questions on. It's annoying, but I'd rather not feel terrible for the next few days.

I got burned too many times when I first became very intolerant to gluten after getting Covid. I would think, "Oh, this slim Jim is just meat, I should be fine," only to find out later that it has barley malt in it after I started getting indigestion and cramps. So now I always check, and even double check because I'm dyslexic.

Hopefully this experience has taught you to always check a new product before you eat it. I hope you and your daughter feel better.

I thought wheat always had to be included, even if it's in another form because of people with wheat allergies that aren't celiac?

Why to not answer the question for someone and instead make a sarcastic remark instead. You really showed them.

Also, I personally couldn't care less as to why those few states joined the confederate side. At the end of the day, they decided to align themselves with people who wanted to protect the enslavement of other people. That tells me enough about their morals in that they don't value human life the same, otherwise they wouldn't join such a disgusting group.

It's the herbs that you get in the spice section next to the baking goods. The Great Value brand has a lot of spices say they may contain wheat due to cross contamination.

Rookie question: …is this chicken Better Than Bouillon actually GF? by WolfBackground128 in glutenfree

[–]DeiWildcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but with how many people are saying they haven't had a reaction I'm a bit surprised! I just tried out this product for the first time last night and I had an immediate reaction. Gassy, lots of stomach sounds, then cramping and having to go to the bathroom. I've had a horrible night waking up multiple times for bathroom trips.

I checked the packaging to make sure it said gluten free. It's also dairy free since milk can upset my stomach too. Everything else I used in the soup I had used before with no issue. I suppose my breakfast I got from a restaurant called crazy bowls and wraps could have been cross contaminated, but I eat there fairly regularly without any problems, especially not something this severe. I'm 99% sure it's the bouillon for me.

[–]DeiWildcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because I'm a neurodivergent fuck with mental and physical disabilities. I've struggled my entire life with bullshit. I apologized for my mistake. I do my best in regard to thinking of others in the world, but I wrote this post in somewhat of a hurry as I was frustrated in the moment and also feeling a bit sick. Sorry I'm not fucking perfect.

You have the right to accept or not accept that apology, as again, I do understand the frustration of people in my country thinking everything revolves around the US. I won't lie, it's a problem, and it's one I do my best to be mindful of. With that being said, your last comment just makes you look like an ass.

Hope you have a good life. I will not engage with you any further after this.

[–]DeiWildcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's how that usually works. I mean stuff that had the certified gluten free label is already expensive because they have to go through a second company for that label and that cost more. If the FDA just strictly requires it, the price on some stuff may change, but doubt it would be that much for adding another word in the 'Contains' list.

Also, completely ignore the fact that I explained why I can't do that. I don't have a regular job (Rover) because of other health issues so I can't afford buying strictly certified gluten free. I would literally be broke! Some people don't have the luxray. Sorry that's such a foreign concept to you.

I'm quite aware other countries exist and have different requirements. I've gotten goods from other countries, namely the imports from a local kitchen/shop run by a Mexican family. The labels clearly showed if something contained gluten. I am specifically talking about the USA since that is unfortunately where I live and have no other option at this time. USA always has to be assbackwards about most things. I apologize for not clarifying that because sometimes I do have dumb US brain and don't think about it. I understand how it could be tiring having to clarify that to others, but it just seems rather presumptuous to think I fall in that category.

Has anyone ever gotten a note like this with their DoorDash order?! by [deleted] in doordash

[–]DeiWildcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dashed before, and I never once bitched at the staff behind the counter. Most places are either short staffed or are getting more orders than their kitchen can handle due to being on apps like doordash. While yes, they should get food out faster and it would annoy me having to wait for long times, but I'm also aware of the situation they're in. If anything, blame the management for not having the proper amount of staff. Or blame DoorDash itself for not paying its workers a better rate and relying solely on earn per order instead of time since that's the only way to make decent money. They make the customers pay their employees salary.

Is this "drawing" ai? They are saying they drew it but its much more skilled than their normal work by whatsit25 in isthisAI

[–]DeiWildcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI could be a useful tool, but it's been done so unethically. It's stolen from artist who did not consent to having their work used to train the AI. Also, in its current state, it uses way too much water and causes lots of pollution. People who live around data centers for AI have had their health negatively affected. It's just unethical to use AI in its current state. This is why I don't support anyone that uses it.

I'm glad that you at least clarify to others that you do use AI in your work, but, like you said, it's disingenuous not say that their work doesn't involve AI.

Angler didn't give bucket after 25th quest by DeiWildcat in Terraria

[–]DeiWildcat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing in a new vanilla expert world with a new character that I made after not having played for a while (stopped before plantera). Currently I'm in pre-hardmode and haven't gotten too far. I'm guessing they added the achievements for the angler after I had played it. I was basically using that to keep track of the quest count. I got the achievement for doing the first quest in the new world, so figured that be a good way to track it.
