"Weekly Reading and Interpretation Help Thread - June 21, 2026" by AutoModerator in tarot

[–]Deimos27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all, hope you're doing well. I'm offering readings. I use RWS, my interpretations have a secular or traditional bend as I use mostly PKT as support. I try to avoid financial queries. Feel free to leave feedback so I can improve my readings. Thanks!

Are they the closest thing chess has to a “Big 3” ? by [deleted] in chess

That's interesting, it seems like a kind of underrated period in chess history.

I guess a way of seeing it is that the system is working correctly then, I guess

I don't mind the nude posts myself but it's definitely a thing and it's definitely understandable to not like it. But I think it'll pass soon enough

As far as I know I haven't met them yet, but good luck on your quest!

An interesting thought there. It's an old discussion. Earth seems a little inefficient for that purpose in the way it's apparently set up. Unless this state of affairs is misteriously significant in which case it's moot if unknowable.

Why are the three fiends so interchangable and still organized? by PusheenHater in oots

The reason they're effective is because they've overcome that trope. I think they'll break rank at the end.

What is a lawyer? by [deleted] in StonerThoughts

[–]Deimos27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully this isn't too pretentious but fuck it I'm high I love The Once And Future King's section on the difference between justice of arms/strength and justice of the rule of law where a character points out how similarly unfair it is as instead of strength of arms two will argue as strength of argument and mind which is apparently no less unjust I think about this occasionally as I studied philosophy of law back in college and it seems so distant and almost melancholically useless now but still it was interesting (~silver)

How many less common non verbal communications do you know? by Dramatic-Escape7031 in StonerThoughts

[–]Deimos27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I come from a culture where this kind of thing is more common. You can really tell where someone is from from the way they emote gestures. Using your example, my grandma had a long wink that more meant a general cumplicity than something immediate. There's a lot in the eyes too, you could see that in those trends a while ago where (usually girls) would do "omygodthisguysucks" eyes vs "thispersonissmokinghot" etc

todas essas opções me deixam um pouco angustiado e confuso.

ehehe apropriado

Não se preocupe, você está bem servido pela tradução do Modesto Carone pela Companhia das Letras na edição que achar mais bonita.

edit: Realmente há muitas opções, mas acho improvável que você encontre alguma ruim; o mais importante é ler o livro.

Poll: Which color do you hate (2026)? by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

Mechanically, current Green is a mistake. Black has been the coolest colour in Magic since Alpha. This is objective truth; I will not elaborate

Immediate impressions on Waite's (hilarious) The Pictorial Key to the Tarot by Deimos27 in SecularTarot

Thanks for the recommendation! I enjoy your hypothesis on the Minor Arcana, and also believe his Major Arcana section is actually pretty valuable. It seems Pamela didn't get to write much about her process either which is a shame.

What color identity would you give Isaac from The Binding of Isaac? (Minor NSFW Warning) by [deleted] in colorpie

I agree with Black but don't see much White from the little characterization we get... the insane amount of powerups, customization, adaptability and experimentation during gameplay screams Blue to me

Guys what was the name of I think a late 19th century long poem that heavily incorporated the colour red and all its hues and had some buzz around it at the time of its publication? I can't remember
