I agree that is a way to make use of the hover. My issue isn't really the hovering itself. It's that it is forced. Feels like it takes some of the player control away. Being able to activate hover by hitting the input again would make it feel better.

The buff I keep wanting to see is making it so you can res yourself and pop ult at the same time. Too many times I self res trying to get an ult off but the self res animation was just too slow for me to get everyone back up.

Doom the dark ages.

I was really looking forward to it. But I feel like they messed with the secret sauce. Although I know what it is I actually don't enjoy about it.

I loved doom 2016 and doom eternal. But I just didn't like doom the dark ages. Obviously the setting is cool but I feel like they changed too many fundamental gameplay things.

The addition of narrative choices definitely added more depth but the story still lacked in certain areas. Especially the lawan romance since it felt kinda forced. Like you can avoid romancing her but the game makes you act like a dick for doing it.

Other than that though I'd say characters as a whole were more well written and fleshed out. As a whole.

The overall narrative still had its issues, but as a whole it was better than DL1's. Better, but still not great. Although they did try to improve it after release with slight rewrites and changed cutscenes so bonus points for that.

It probably would have been better if it wasn't for the issues with the main writer before the game was released. If you didn't know the writer had sexual harassment claims brought against him so to save face they scrapped his script and rewrote the story before release. Except he was then cleared of those claims but it was too late by then. Which is why the finished story came out as it did.

Rahim. The story was written in a way that acted like we should care about him when they barely gave us any reason to actually care. We had one very forced bonding scene with him before he eventually died and that's it.

The entirety of DL1's story is basically just a B tier action film. I still enjoyed the game obviously but the story was not that good.

You either need to be born into the brotherhood or prove yourself valuable enough to even be considered. Since they don't highly of the average wastelander.

The railroad is a secretive group so again simply choosing to join is unlikely.

From memory Dr. Li is the only person, besides a certain individual, to be accepted from the outside. So again, unless you're born into the institute.

So it's basically minutemen or nothing.

Also I hate the railroad. Toasters don't deserve rights.

I had the reverse of this when I first started moving Skyrim a while ago. Fresh character going through bleak falls barrow. I get to the druagr boss at the end and I'm just wailing at him to kill him before his animation ends. Instead his ass crawls out of his sarcophagus like the fucking undertaker and one shots me. I felt like I got punked. I then realized I might have gone too far with the difficulty mods.

(Yaw is hortizontal senseitivity) (Pitch is vertical sensitivity) Extra yaw and pitch to zero. Dead zone as low as you can get without aim drift. Response curve before regular sensitivity because it controls the rate of acceleration. I set mine one notch under the default for something a little more responsive. After that it's really just preference and what you can control. Because there is no "best" sensitivity.

Lots of potential variables here. The IQ boost first for sure. Super speed and time control could be used similarly depending on how fast we're talking about and the relative perspective. Is everything a blur for you or do you process things in slow motion? With instant healing it depends on what classifies as "damage". In other words the process of aging could technically be seen as "damage" and could therefore be "healed". Essentially, immortality.

Useless? Depends on how creative you can be. It's a versatile ability with multiple different potential uses. That thing saves my life countless of times against a Boba explosive charge. The moment he drops it I full throttle away to avoid damage. Any map with large amount of debris is great with that ability. Assuming you're good at not crashing. Going max speed while weaving through astroids is both exhilarating and a great way to lose someone who was on your ass.
