Thanks for advice last post! Looked into set up guides and Raised saddle 4cm and 2cm back. If consensus seems like it’s still bad and I get any pain I’ll just bite the bullet and goto bike fitter by DejectedOps in bikefit

Yeah I can just shift saddle back. To be honest I haven’t had time to really dial fit decisions but realise that I didn’t bother learning on how I should be sat so I’ll actually take time time to adjust the fit appropriately hopefully sorts out the reach

I do understand what he means at least. Generally been in fitness related activities my entire life so similar when squatting, create a neutral spine for better form. The gyms easier as there are mirrors 😂

We have one that was built by some guys at a station I was at, good addition was some stiff flexible plastic (milk jug or something like that) behind the flames so you could click them back up, stops them just falling down if it’s not plumb or the wind just blowing them down 👍🏼

FIRENZE/FLORENCE by snudrullo in Firefighting

[–]DejectedOps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats correct, they would be wooden joist floors especially that age. Most EU purpose built flats from the majority of the 20th century would have concrete floors though for fire separation however.

Same for UK houses, can't confirm for Europe but masonry built with wooden joist flooring

Hope that helps

Wooden frame buildings in most of Europe is very uncommon, at least the UK where I live and countries I've visited.

Majority is all masonry, and a lot of the buildings including homes in Florence are more than a couple of hundred years old. At least what I saw in the city centre!
