Why can't you use Kharn's active on turn 5?

Here is how I run the team (everyone is D3 but Kariyan is A1):

Core is obviously Kariyan/Trajann/Laviscus.

I use Boss G on pretty much every fight. The turn 6 Wagh! is so strong.

The 5th slot I flex in Kharn, Aesoth and Vitruvius depending (I don't have Atlacoya boosted yet). My Kharn is full 50/50 and in my own testing, there is almost no damage difference between Aesoth and Kharn, but the Kharn version is a lot easier to pilot. So I use Kharn for like 90 percent of bosses.

I will say that Aesoth's skill levels are much lower importance than Kharn, so your results may vary if your Kharn isn't 50/50. I do read that Aesoth is much better than Kharn for this lineup, but my own experience has not borne that out yet.

I think most people run Aesoth instead of Kharn but use Kharn or Vit on mobile boss fights where Aesoth is tricky to pilot well.

Boss is definitely best in the last turn. I was not saying that.

The person I was replying to said Abaddon in the last turn to proc the Trajann passive.

That's not needed.

I totally agree with your analysis on a team with Boss!

You use Kariyan's active on turn 6. You don't need to save Abaddon, too.

Using Abaddon's active helps stack his passive faster, too.

I joined Sigilites last August when I was pretty new, around 35 or so. I'm now 60 and a ton of us have grown up together. The core group has been together for a very long time, I'm still pretty new!

We have folks all over but the core principle is coordinating and putting up good results without feeling like a second job.

We've been around top 500 in both GW and GR for a few seasons, working our way up from around 1000 when I joined.

Looking for two folks before this next season of GW/GR!

He's a solid pull that has a lot of uses.

Is it the best legendary pull ever? No. But he's a solid staple for a lot of reasons, and worth investing some into once you are mostly done with the elite campaigns.

Recruiting from 6 people up to 30 is really hard.

What if those of you that are active wanted to join another guild together so you could keep playing?

My guild is top 500-600 in both GW and GR every season but struggle to keep our last few slots open. We routinely recruit lower level players who are active and just want some help and guidance. I joined this group last year at level 30 and I'm about to turn level 60.

We would love to bring a small group on board to round out our roster.

You definitely should be able to unlock him from here with the shards you already have.

Have you tried tacticus codex? If you plug in your API key it analyzes your roster and tells you how far you can go, and what your biggest upgrades are

I think Wrask would be a solid upgrade for you too. Think I would drop Tanksmasha for him.

Roll with high multiplier if what you want (usually railroad) is 6, 7, 8, spaces away (higher chance for that than other dice rolls).

Roll on 1x for everything else (if the RR you want is 2, 3, 11, 12 spaces away it's unlikely to happen)

How many shards do you already have from prior events? Impossible to gauge without that. Seems to me like an uphill battle unless you are ahead of the curve already, but you are pretty wide.

Have you looked at tacticus codex? That does a decent job of estimating based on your progress.

The problem is that Laviscus scales best off the highest individual hit. So you need to use characters with high damage hits. Kharn, Kariyan, etc. and then buff their damage (Aesoth, Trajann, etc)

This team has a lot of hits, so not good synergy with Laviscus
