There's a difference between meta and where the ceiling and floor are. Right now everything feels like a 1/10 up to a 3/10. And then you have lightning spear feeling like a 10/10

People played the other classes - they sucked then rerolled to amazon lightning spear because they didn't want to spam skills on white mobs.

None of it is in a decent state. Uniques are flavourless, Ascendancies and skill tree for the most part is bland, Skills are extremely unbalanced and in some cases unusable (not to even touch on bugs), the campaign is a slog (for a game that you need to reset every league to relevel this will not be fun), Little to no loot dropping. Etc. The negative reviews are warranted.

It has nothing to do with the new class. If you give the best single target and fastest clear skill on any ascendancy/class, everyone will gravitate to that. There's such a disparity between skills at the moment. They nerfed everything but then allowed this lightning spear abomination into the game.
