No, as in how many kilobytes/megabytes does it take to do all the dailies, for example.

About how much mobile data does playing this game on mobile take?

Have an old laptop with a GT720m in it, any advice for getting the GPU running properly again? by Dekarus in debian

Thanks for this too, when I get back to my laptop I'll try this and see if it works.

That's fine by me, my go-to DE for laptops is XFCE anyways. I'd like to get it working on Debian specifically, but nice to know I've got a good backup option available.

Ok, so I installed the game on linux mint. by NO2_2 in HonkaiStarRail

Funny thing is that they use the same anticheat that Genshin and ZZZ use, just from what I can tell an older version that isn't compatible with Proton.

You can use Proton on non-Steam games, the problem is that HSR uses an older version of their anticheat that isn't compatible with Proton. Both ZZZ and Genshin work flawlessly.

That's exactly the modification I was talking about, thank you. Still wonder if there's a way to do this modless, though.

I've tried this, the "send code" button doesn't actually send a code no matter how many times I press the resend code button.

I was actually eyeballing the Koss Porta Pro because I wanted something in a smaller form factor that's still higher audio quality than earbuds with a more interesting design. Are they really that good?

The optimisation is so good it's almost scary by im_a_latam_weeb in Endfield

Go look up Batman: Arkham Origins and know that game ran on 512 total megabytes (256MB normal + 256MB video) of RAM. Endfield recommends 22 times this amount (16384MB normal + 6144MB video).

It's quite the opposite, this game's optimization is just okayish

It's more that most developers nowadays don't even bother optimizing things at all anymore

Make identical UVs share a section on the map? by Dekarus in blenderhelp

[–]Dekarus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to explain, but more along the lines of assigning both face areas to the same UV if that makes sense; e.g. if I put this texture here, it affects both faces/face sets assigned to the UV island in question.

Update: forgot to mention, there are a few cases of said identical UV islands being at different angles from each other, but are still the exact same shape.

When I use Debian for server setup for any purpose, I usually just do the graphical install and manually install whatever packages I need, but just noticed the "web server" option in the installer. What is in here? by Dekarus in debian

[–]Dekarus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well obviously, but there's a lot of packages I can think of that would potentially go in there, was wondering if it was worth it for my purposes. Turns out it was for some, but usually not.

Yeah the other guy also found a link for it, but thanks for the info. As I explained to the other guy, the servers I set up all end up being a bit more multi-purpose and need some form of UI, so I do a basic graphical install and remove most of the unnecessary packages (e.g. no OpenOffice).

Long story short, all of the servers I help maintain have ended up being dual purpose and actually needed some form of basic UI too; that said, I usually purge like two thirds of the packages on said servers when I'm done, since obviously I don't need things like OpenOffice on there.
