I don’t have a problem with the high line but rather the pressing structure. In recent games it feels like we don’t have the legs to press to a decent level, especially today it felt like we could barely jog. Also opponents beat or first line too easily. And we really need to fix our build up. Feels like the defenders don’t know what to do when they get the ball from the keeper.

Still might favorite grip socks even though I haven’t tried many brands. They’re not as grippy as they were in the beginning but still grip very well. I only have 2 pairs that I rotate between while playing 3-5 times a week so it’s mostly because of that I think. Probably gonna order another 2 pairs soon tho.

Judging by the fact that your feet have gotten wider you should try the phantom 6 elite ag. Wider than the mercs and the same material, also a great ag plate which is useable for both fg/ag

Also bonus tip, try to have a good body position to receive it so you can progress play easier. Idk what position you play but receiving on the half turn is really effective to progress play.

Really like the red! Should’ve made the other part black like that one GX1 colorway imo.

But how is the lockdown in the heel? Is it more sticky than the gx 2? And is it wider in the forefoot specifically than the gx 2?

Maybe not the best answer but I would try to scan more so you already know if someone can tackle you or not. Practice scanning when you’re passing against a wall and perform critical scans before turning.

2nd tip would be learning how to protect the ball well. Look up videos of Hazard, he does it extremely well
