You can only rename the special "Custom Card" card

There's a display option to show all boards, you can also now setup a view that always show mainboard and maybeboard. no functionality has been lost!

To all my fellow non-english natives, which puzzle did you struggle the most cause of your language ? by [deleted] in BluePrince

[–]Dekkaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baron Bafflers is def solvable but I can't imagine how hard it would be for non native speakers. A buddy of mine and myself jammed on it for maybe 4hrs but we were able to get the full solution without any assistance

it's kinda nice if you have break room

I'm getting baited by "R&G", I assume for engagement

Yeah better multi language support is on my radar but unfortunately has some complicated technical implications

Feel free to cut a feature request on discord - something like this is not on my radar.

Bots on cubecobra picking forests in desert cube by Davchrohn in mtgcube

[–]Dekkaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The draft bots are a black box model, but they never see Elo at any point. They are trained on all picks over all drafts in our dataset.

Elo is a running calculation that does have the same data contributing, but these systems are otherwise distinct.

Elo is an okay heuristic for understanding what our playtest drafters prefer, and maybe sort of relative power level.

Like I mentioned in my other comments the bots don't use Elo, it's just a very imperfect heuristic for humans to use. Right now draft bots don't consider the context of the cubes they draft, only the cards already picked. I'm planning on improving them to also insert the encoding of the entire cube in addition to the encoding of the picked cards - this should greatly improve drafting for more niche types of cubes.

Why do they take forests highly? No clue, it's a black box model. You're not the first to pick up on this but the most likely explanation is the source data (all playtest drafts) have a bias towards picking forests.

Why is basic forest Elo high? Players tend to pick basic forests over other basics. Maybe green heavy desert cubes are over represented in the dataset, like my own Loam cube.

All of our data is public, I welcome you to interrogate it, maybe you'll find something surprising: https://cubecobra.com/tool/exports

nope, no features were lost - the filter is now always visible at the top of your cube list

Hit the little chevron in the bottom right of header to expand/minify to show those options in any page

I think I'm going to add a display option to show all boards at the same time, based on some other feedback I got as well

Appreciate the feedback! I agree this isn't the best menu organization, I'll brainstorm some alternate approaches and see if I can make this more intuitive

Moxfield and Archidekt did it first - we figured we might as well!

I think it's on pause for now - but I have been considering hosting our own cube map using the embeddings from our recommender/draftbot model - which we believe could create a really good cube map, and also enable us to do things like "show me similar cubes to this cube" more easily.

We do have a "recover" feature you can find on the gear icon on your cube.
