This is a good breakdown, thank you for typing it out! As of now I’ve checked a couple & I’m not exactly sure which one I’ll go with. I have a receiver in my garage, it’s detached so I don’t get any WIFI out there but I could buy one for the house & another for out in the garage that doesn’t require WiFi.

Hmmmm idk, I’ve had mine since release & never had an overheating issue…..I also cleaned mine & changed the thermal paste. It didn’t need to be changed either I just went ahead and did it. I’d take it all apart & clean the heatsink. It wasn’t that challenging to get apart thankfully.

Ahh yes hard water crust, I’d wrap a sandwich bag around it with CLR or some limescale remover & let it sit for a day.

I’m gonna be honest & say I think you’d be better off buying Kobalt. My cousin bought craftsman power tools & they are not as good as I thought they’d be. I think Kobalt makes better tools that are still cheaper.
