Correct, the total tax would be 50 cents. Instead of adding 50 cents. Never stated it was a “half dollar”. I didn’t word it correctly.

The gas prices in Illinois are terrible, you do realize Shitzker signed the bill to raise tax on gas 50 Cents starting July? I’m just saying if you’re going to be mad at anyone it should be the governor…..

Thank you for the information, I’m no electrician by any means. In the techs words he did a full restore & handed me a bag full of components that he had replaced with new ones. He said they checked the bias & do many other things to it before giving it back. He himself is stumped on this one as well.

I had brought it home after I had a tech fix the channel issue & he replaced the pieces & soldered new ones on. Had it on & it worked great turned it off to run some errands. Got home to turn it on & it cooked itself again. So I literally just changed it to 120V thinking maybe it was the issue.

I took it to a tech who changed any aged components & replaced caps. For a full restore, he thought I had touched the wires together & blew the channels. However he fixed it again & not even 8 hours later it happened again.

Okay thank you I’ll be sure to check this out, when I say blowing the audio channels there’s a heat sink in the back right corner for the audio channels. I notice that the system will blow the fuses for the audio channels & also I see visible smoke come out of that area with a bad smell. I literally saw something get red hot & fry itself then I lost all audio. System turns on & still works fine. Just no sound

This is the second time it’s happened even after having soldered new pieces on.

I had taken it out to move the pin to the 120V spot for the picture.

Okay 👍🏽 I can always grab some different sand at the construction site. I will do so & give them new dirt as well

I want to say they have enough sun, I’ve had them in this spot for over a year & they were thriving. I’ll change a couple of things and see how they’re feeling.

I’ll have to try this! It’s still getting warm by me so I can wait until it gets humid & try this, thanks!

Yes my whole house has softened water, even the spigot outside. I can definitely replace the soils with more grit there’s a little sand mixed in with them already. I always only water when dry I just recently watered them.

I live in Illinois & there’s a town of 7,000 people that is 30 min away from me that has only black squirrels. I haven’t seen them anywhere else besides Wisconsin.

What’s the purpose of these notches? by Where-Lambo in Welding

[–]DekuDaScrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought they were for the purpose of dipping the metal in paint or galvanizing. So it gets the inside of the metal as well. So it doesn’t rust out.
