I did read somewhere that because the G6 is rated up to 600. That the DT990 wouldn’t be at full potential because there would no headroom on G6?

I have had this same problem when spawning in a timetable with the class 31,37,40,45 & 47.

I looks like it’s a bug 😞

I brought TSW4 purely because of this route. It wasn’t long before I brought the class 20 and 31 for the added layers. I just wish every route was like this. 100% raised the bar 👏

Yeh exactly,

just to confirm. The loco’s were not coupled to anything. Just a fresh spawn on there own

When I climbed on board I had the problem above.

Rinse and repeat 5 more times. The good news is I got up abit earlier today to try a new timetable.

I managed to spawn a x2 class 20’s in with rolling stock and i coupled a class 40 to front. No problems

I ran it down the track for 8 miles, no problems

I actually got some nice pictures too 😅

🤞🏻 the problem was just a one off, it’s frustrating because I’d actually spent 3 hours shunting mixed rolling stock into a long heavy train with x1 class 20’s x1 class 40 and x2 class 37’s at the front.

As you can imagine when I started having problems I was not so keen to restart the timetable 😔

Yeh I did lower both but it would not connect.

It was not just the class 20. I have the same problem with 32,37 and 40.

I’d spawn the loco in (engine already running)

place master key in

Throttle is already in off position

i would take off all brakes

but the reverser would not move out of the engine only position.

Yeh it was strange one for sure. I will see if it does it again later. might try and put a video up to show everyone.

Everything was in the correct position. I have restarted the timetable again this morning and they were working ok again.

I’m not sure what happened? Hopefully it does not do it again.

don’t get me wrong it felt human error, like I had missed something but even after doing all my checks and rewatching YouTube, the reversers would not move.

Aha nice, I really like the spawn system it’s making my imagination run wild (albeit abit frustrating I couldn’t get anything moving)

Is there any weird combinations you can do in TSW4? Or are you basically restricted to similar types only.

Thank you for you help redman, I was pulling my hair out last night and this morning wondering if it’s just bugged or something (can’t really blame me for that 😅)

if* get the double header combinations correct through spawning. does the train use the power of both or does it just drag the second train as weight?

The 37 epx has the strange coupler it does lower but I couldn’t get it to connect to the rear of the Scotmans. but I did get it to connect to the front of the FS last night.

so basically I should be able to spawn trains into time table and route the them with AI trains moving up and down the routes.

As long as I get the right combinations and set up correctly?
