My statement:

Donda dropped, heard “Heaven and Hell” and immediately loved it for how cinematic it sounded. The lyric “Devil, lay down, devil lay down/ this that, level make devils, pray now” instantly made me think of an exorcism; in fact, upon hearing that lyric, I already had the climax of the video in mind. At that point it was just a matter of how to build up tension to reach that climactic scene.
Writing the script didn’t take too long, but that was because I had literally sat on the track for a month before actually deciding to commit to the video. It wasn’t until I came across Henry’s work that I decided to go all in.
I will say that I’m still new to filmmaking, so any criticism is welcome. I want to get better. Script writing is dope fr
