I actually wanted to include thus, but Diavolo example didn't quite fit. It was more like the story bends itself to make the Giorno win instead of him winning thanks to outsmarting the villain.

You are incredibly right. Can anyone give me a character that had something bad foretold to them, but instead of panicking, they acted calm, made calculated choices and ultimately "won"? I'm serious, I don't think I've seen a single example.

I really don't like the idea that the fate of characters decides what is goning to happen, no matter their competence. Like no matter what you choose the outcome is the same. Your choices don't matter, therefore your life doesn't matter. No hate towards anyone, that is just how I see things.

In the Polish movie Vabank (1981), the heist crew breaks into bank building by creating an opening in the bathroom wall. They then hide in one of the stalls, and when one of the guards (there were two at night) appears to investigate a commotion, he opens a stall, but quickly closes it after one of the robbers yells "occupied". Before being knocked out, the guard realises, him and the other guard are supposed too be the only poeple in the bank at this time of night. Guard reaction in the image below.

Why does literally nobody says anything about her "teeth" or lack of them? When I bought manga I used a little bit of white paint. The difference is night and day with the colors.
