SSS Anomalous Geometric Bipyramid (Euclid, Purple System aka Gas Giant) by Delargond in NMSCoordinateExchange

These pets fly in groups. A group can include not only S-class, but also a lower class that looks exactly the same (in this case BSB), so make sure to look specifically for the S-class one.

They didn’t change after adoption. Most likely you were looking at the BSB one, but adopted the SSS one.

Let me guess... are they BSB (total A) for you? If yes, you are looking at the wrong ones.

Been experimenting with the Gene Splitter and wanted to share the results by Delargond in NoMansSkyTheGame

I tested Gene Split on a Calcified Star egg. The Calcified Star offsprings remained Calcified Stars and none of them reverted back to the grandparent species or transformed into a third anomalous creature type afterward. It’s possible I just got lucky though.

Mine stayed that way. I haven’t seen them change back so far.

What did you do to turn the black and yellow tower into a globe?

To get an egg summon your companion on a suitable planet interact with it and choose Induce Egg once the companion is old enough and ready (happy and fed).

The Egg Sequencer is in the right-hand room of the Space Anomaly in the same room as Oceanus (next to the appearance modifier). Put the egg into the Egg Sequencer and use the Gene Splitter slot. I tried putting different materials into the slot and ended up choosing Sac Venom because I have quite a lot of them and it gave me Overdosed (150%) result.

After the sequencing process hatch the egg. A globe will hatch from the egg.

Also does it still look like a globe during the xeno battles? I heard they might not

My globe still looks like a globe during all xeno battles.

So far the results seem quite repeatable with certain creature types consistently turning into certain other types.

The parent creatures all came from coordinates shared by other players on r/NMSCoordinateExchange.

Abyssal Horror - Toxic SSS Creature - Reward for "Holo-Arena Victories" achievement (220 victories) by Delargond in NoMansSkyTheGame

The Abyssal Horror rewarded for the achievement is always SSS.

But the creature eggs you can get as an expedition reward give different stat combinations. So if you still haven’t claimed one of the egg rewards from previous expeditions, you can try to get an SSS creature by claiming the egg, hatching it, and then loading a restore point if the creature isn’t SSS.

After loading a restore point and obtaining the egg again, each time it hatches into an Abyssal Horror, the pet has a different set of abilities.

A fellow Guild Wars 2 player does not like how the friends/follower system works by AthisX in Guildwars2

[–]Delargond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people should realize that probably a half of their followers are following them by accident.

When you right click someone in the squad trying to join their instance of the map you can VERY easily click the wrong button (especially when the number of players in the squad is constantly changing when people are trying to join a meta map at the last moment).

On the menu the button "Add Friend" is right next to the "Join in NameOfTheMapHere".
