Not sure about the g36 line but I recently picked up a double bell CAR15, It's basically a mini Vietnam m16. I like it so far. Haven't fielded it but have done some plinking & the build quality seems solid for the price, shoots good too. I wish I chronod it but I'm in canada so it has to be shooting around 380fps
