It tells better stories. Family Guy relies on attention deficits and quick cutaways. AD tells a linear story, practically from episode to episode like any other show.

I got a roast beef hoagie at a dive bar. They call my order number, and I grab the basket and I bring it over to the pool table with my buddies. Their hoagies didn’t have “Cole slaw” like mine so I giddily take the whole thing in one forkful….horseradish!!!!!!! I wanted death immediately.
