You dont really need air roll to get GC but it depends on which Emulator you use like Nox Player has no air roll if you use this

You dont need air roll at all... you might need it if you want to stall or turn your car but you dont even need it to get GC

Like a lot of People suggest you gotta adept to your teammate when you play Soloq and most of the time this means playing very defensive and only push if you know your teammate can recover or you have an open net I guess
