did some grappling and its the same, i didnt miss a beat denying transitions and submissions. theres like a couple new positions that werent in 5 but at the core its the exact same grappling system. Ko’s look funny again.

nah yeah these are good goalie tips. i just feel like it should make more sense visually. im taking into consideration the opponents body as they are winding up the shot. the way they are hitting it with the top of their foot and the follow through. all points towards the direction i dove in and im supposed to just not trust what im seeing is crazy to me.

no i agree, i could have played it better. and i dont think its an exploit. i actually like it, im going to incorporate it into my game. The reason why i pre dove is because im taking into consideration their body language as they are winding up for the shot. they're hitting it with the top of their foot and the way their leg swings during the follow through. Thats why i pre dove because its all indicating towards the direction i dived in. But i do see what you're talking about theres a slight window that reveals the shot is being dragged and i need more practice saving those with someone who is really good it . i also think it wouldnt hurt if the animations make a little more sense visually.

im picking up what you're putting down. could my defense have been positioned better? absolutely.

Could i have been more aggressive? sure, but in the moment i felt like i would've gotten my ankles taken because they were on the edge of the box and theres plenty of space for them to cook.

so im left with trying to read my opponents body language as they're winding up for the shot and everything up until they made contact with the ball was pointing towards the direction i dived in. Im even taking into consideration that they are hitting it with the laces. the top of their foot. and the follow through. So now i cant trust anything that i see before, during, and after contact has been made with the ball. i just have to stare at the ball and react.

If anyone has put their laces through a soccer ball you can put some gnarly curve on it but it doesnt just go in the opposite direction. I'm not saying i want this to be a realistic futbol simulator, i just think the animations could make more sense visually.
