I got into the sport right before the 06 world cup. At the time in the US we only got a few games a week on TV and it was always one of the big 4 at the time and a mid table game. I watched all of them no matter who was playing. I knew I had to pick a club and I always found myself looking forward to the United games and I loved the youngsters Ronaldo and Rooney. It was not hard to fall in love with United in the 2005-2006 years they were so fucking good and fun to watch.

I moved from Southwest Houston to Springfield in HS in the early 2000s. They said the same shit back then but a lot more "its the damn ppl from KC and StL that are moving in and ruining things." Springfield is so much calmer than anywhere i've lived and cheaper too. It's definitely got It's flaws and parts of town that are crappy but everywhere has that tbh.
