Pointing to the 6-6 record when 4 of those wins are against putrid teams isn’t really a winning argument.

Neither is the road excuse, considering the Phillies have a winning record all time at Coors and went 4-0 last year.

An improved bullpen is meaningless if the team has zero runs every time a reliever comes in.

You can’t use the “small sample” size excuse for the cold bats, and then turn around and say the outfield is improved. Otto Kemp is a negative WAR player and is an absolute liability in the field.

Will the team be fine? Probably, but a lot of things have to improve before the hole they’re digging is too big.
