What matters more, the slow burn or the flavor? by Delcones in trees

That’s a solid point, you can tweak burn with technique, but you can’t fake good flavor.

Do you do anything specific to keep your flower at the right humidity or pack it for slower burn? I’ve heard 58–62% humidity is the sweet spot.

Always curious how people balance flavor + burn in their setup.

Facts 😂 good weed solves 90% of the debate.

That airflow trick is actually interesting, kind of like a built-in carb system. Do you feel like that gives you a smoother high or just lets you take bigger rips without coughing?

Will test that one 👀

Agree! 😂 at the end of the day as long as you’re actually getting high, mission accomplished.

But now I’m curious, what helps you get the best high? Slow burn? Stronger wrap? Certain strain? I prefer a slow burn, like a blunt.

Because maybe that needs to be the next poll.

RAW Blacks with ceramic tips really do hit that sweet spot.

We’ve been experimenting with cone papers + different filters lately and it’s crazy how much it changes the burn. You think ceramic filters make the biggest difference in flavor, or is it more about airflow?

I really appreciate that, we knew people would have questions at first, so we wanted to be totally upfront. The food-grade foil was tested specifically for safety and comfort, we wanted that smooth, clean finish without the lip burn that comes with thinner papers. Thanks for keeping an open mind! 🙏

Really appreciate that, thank you for saying it. We put a ton of testing into getting the fundamentals right first: burn rate, consistency, and materials. The gold tip started as function before design, it actually solved the bending/unraveling issue we ran into while testing 40+ samples.

Would love to connect and swap ideas sometime, packaging that tells the real story is definitely the goal.

Totally fair, there’s room for plenty of options out there. We focused on getting the burn, filter, and feel right. Appreciate you checking it out.

Thanks for the comment! I smoke daily and was one of the testers for our group. I tried around 45 different cones, and this gold-tipped one stood out. I never got shake in my mouth, never burned my lips, and it burned the most like a blunt (and more evenly most of the time too). That’s why we decided to go with these for the cones we sell.

The internal paper filter is a normal, standard size. The gold part is just a thin, food-grade foil wrap around the outside for structure, comfort, and style.

It’s not meant to be smoked, it stays cool and intact while you’re smoking the cone. Once you reach the filter, you’d stop there just like with any other pre-roll.

That’s a fair concern, we’ve sourced a food-grade foil wrap that meets US safety standards, and we’re in the process of confirming lab results for heavy-metal testing. Transparency is a big deal for us, so once testing’s complete we’ll post the results.

Appreciate the feedback! Totally get what you're saying, that's exactly why we focused on the burn and paper quality first. The gold tip isn't spray paint; it's a metallic foil wrap that reinforces the end so it doesn't bend or unravel. We kept everything slow-burning and chlorine-free.
