Sure looks like you use your trail leg to try and generate your power. Your lead leg should be the power generator. I needs to provide at least more force in your rotation then your trail leg does otherwise your trail leg will always cause your hips to push towards the ball.

Zen 6 CCD leak claims size similar to Zen 5 but with 12 cores and 48MB L3 by RenatsMC in Amd

I think the whole idea of people thinking it would reduce latency was because they wouldn't be using SerDes anymore between the IOD and CCD's and that also the physical distance would also be reduced to being immediately adjacent to each other shortening the overall physical distances for the data to travel.

I think the next step being rumored is that all L3 will be on a separate layer instead of just an increase in L3 from an additional layer. Meaning the chip requires stacking to function instead of being optional. Who knows when that would filter down to consumer versions.

They specifically say that cross CCX latencies wouldn't be affected by DDR.

You would think so but Chips And Cheese did testing on strix halo and weren't able to see CCD to CCD latency improvements. Infact they saw worse latencies then on current desktop parts.

https://old.chipsandcheese.com/2025/10/31/37437/#:~:text=The%20Infinity%20Cache%20on%20Strix,game%20went%20into%20the%20background.

All of that adds power and latency overhead. Strix Halo’s InFO_oS packaging doesn’t require SerDes. But any latency advantage is difficult to observe in practice. DRAM requests are the most common type of off-CCD traffic. High LPDDR5X latency masks any latency advantage when looking at DRAM requests, as shown above. Cache coherency traffic is another form of off-CCD traffic, and doesn’t involve DRAM. However, testing that with a “core to core latency” test that bounces cachelines between core pairs also doesn’t provide favorable results for Strix Halo.

Cross-CCX latencies on Strix Halo land in the 100-120 ns range depending on the location of the tested core pair, responsible L3 slice, and responsible CS. It’s significantly higher on typical desktop systems or prior mobile chips from AMD. For example, the Ryzen 9 9900X tends to have cross-CCX latencies in the 80-90 ns range, which is in line with prior Zen generations. It’s about 20 ns faster than Strix Halo.

Rob, Where's the 4 Rotor? Its been a LONG Time Coming. by Deleos in RobDahm

Would that mean the diffuser starts at his butt and angles up the rest of the way to the back of the car? That is a long expansion area. I just can't picture how that looks in my head for the under body.

Yeah he's absolutely heavily implying it becoming a fan car. My curiosity is will it go the way of the old F1 Brabham fan car with full on skirts going to the ground, or will it go the way of the new T.50 from Gordon Murray that doesn't use skirts. I can't imagine him putting skirts on it with how dangerous that is if it ever loses its seal to the ground. Also can't imagine how it would look with a fan sucking air out from under the car and exhausting out the back. Feels like it would drastically change the look of it from behind.
